I followed this video while in Rome Day 1 Spanish Steps ~1hr Trione Fountain 0.5hr Trevi Fountain ~1hr Pantheon 2 hours Piazza Navona 2 hours (had dinner overlooking Piazza) Vittariono ~1hr each on 2 days Palazzo Venezia Days 2 Vatican Museums 4+ hrs St. Peters Basilica (climbed the dome as well) 3 hrs Castle St Angelo 2hrs Piazzale Garibaldi (sunset) Trastevere (dinner) Day 3 Colosseum 4hrs (including underground tour, had express entry so no waiting time) Roman Forum ~2hrs Palatine Hill ~2hrs (Sunset) Santa Maria Maggiore Piazza Della Republica (Dinner) Thanks a lot for this video, the maps and interactive information helped me a great deal ! Edit - Added the times as well. Thanks for the likes. Just to add, I used public transport with a 6 yo kid to cover all of it, without a kid you can even spend more time exploring. Stay somewhere central, that helps. Shame I could spend only 3 days, Rome is worth a lifetime !

My 17 year old is in Rome at this moment but she is asleep by now. I love that Italy have bidets as a regular fixture in their bathrooms. USA should have had them as a regular fixture in hotels and homes.💛❤💚

I came back from Rome. Spent 4 days. (but i think 3day was enough). Walked over 40 miles in those 4 days . My hotels was in Termini station so most of attraction are walkable Make sure you use 1 day for Vatinca musem + St. Peters Basilica Another day for Colosseum + roman forum + palatine hill..

Top two things are Colosseo and vatican museum and st peter's Basilica, then perhaps trevi fountain and spanish steps. After that , just eat!

As a Roman ( Born and raised) I can say that I appreciate very much your video. Anyway I'd like to point out that Piazza Navona Is beautiful...so tourists you must do It by all means ! For us it's popular for the Christmas market , for the church in the middle and for the fountains

Rome is an incredible place to visit. It cannot be seen and appreciated in a single day . At minimum three days and more if possible .

One thing I would recommend - take a Metro to Subaugusta and walk to the ancient aquaduct in Parco degli Acquedotti. It feels quite barren and isolated but we visited late in the afternoon, walked past a lot of the broken bits off the main path and never felt unsafe. It's fenced off a bit but it's still an awesome sight! Also (if you like sculpture) the small church of San Pietro in Vincoli. This houses Michelangelo's Moses.

At 4:24 you have a beautiful view of the River and St. Peter's Basilica in the distance. From what bridge did you get that incredible footage? Don't forget Gianicolo.. The magical hill from which you get the best view ever of the city.. It's pretty close to the Vatican.. Climb as high as the Garibaldi statue and the lighthouse and enjoy the amazing view and atmosphere
