Started watching your channel back in March when I wanted to cook my own steaks. Your reverse sear method on ribeyes is amazing and perfect for my small apartment kitchen. Been a huge fan ever since! Just about a year ago I was eating bland chicken and broccoli college meal preps that I had to drench in soy sauce in order to eat it. Now I’m cooking at least 5 nights a week with my girlfriend thanks to all the techniques and ideas on your channel! We always look forward to your videos and I have told my friends and coworkers who are just starting to cook to check out your channel and it’s been such a great experience looking forward to cooking and sharing that passion with many others! Your channel has truly changed my life for the better! Also you kickstarted my interest in cocktails thanks to your podcasts and social media posts so I appreciate that too! Thank you for everything Sam I hope to see you someday in beautiful San Diego!

I really did like Sam's "not a food snob" approach to the fun sushi place. Reminds me that some of the best ramen my family every had was at a noodle kiosk in Narita Airport on the way back from Shanghai, 2pm changing planes. That little place just killed it, and the people making it happen were proudly rockin' it. Humans can be pretty cool.

My Japanese mother always chuckled when I made omurice. In Japan it started as a children’s menu choice, but it’s popular for adults these days. The rice is actually ketchup fried rice, so it’s slightly sweet. Ugh, think I need to make it tonight! 😊
