It is vital and important to understand and remember what the “Architect “ told Neo. That there are multiple versions (6 actually)of the Matrix before the most recent one. Remember, Persephone said the same thing. This might be one of the first versions of the Matrix. It explains Morpheus in him younger self. I think with multiple pills Neo thrives and lives forever in the Matrix. However he’s dying and getting older as new phases go on

Best Matrix moment ever is when Neo refuses to die in the hallway and kills Smith for the first time. Second best is Lawrence Fishburne explaining to Neo, and the audience, what the Matrix is. Super disappointed that they ditched him while making this movie. The new unfamiliar Morpheus sucks. If they wanted to let go of Fishburne then they should have let go of Morphius all together, as that character will ALWAYS belong to Fishburne.

My favorite moment from The matrix trilogy was from the first movie of these two scenes the first scene is when neo is training when they gave him combat training I think it's really cool how it would take years to master these skills it would take seconds which is awesome and the second scene is neo versus Morpheus when they were sparring I think that was awesome! 😊

I love this series, well written and executed, I am not disappointed by anything as I am well aware that somethings change in movies. I love action so I'm locked in and excited to see this continuing adventure. Favorite MOMENTS of The Matrix is when Hugo Weaving’s character kept calling Neo, “Hello, Mr. ANderson.” I also loved the part how Neo dodged the bullets in the first movie, how could we NOT love that shot? That shot is SOOOO iconic and epic.

8 There Have been six versions of the Matrix, false there were seven. The Architect describes two earlier versions of the Matrix before the version seen in the films that are merely an upgraded version of the third version of the Matrix. Version 1.0 or the Paradise Matrix was failed because the humans would accept a world where there was no suffering, according to the Architect, so this version was scrapped. Version 2.0 or the Nightmare Matrix was a failure as it was comprised of monstrous programs, like the Ghost Twins, and was also scrapped as it was just as unbelievable as Version 1.0. Version 3.0 or the Current Matrix was designed to feel like the late 20th to early 21st century and the humans instead were given the unconscious choice to leave it if they wanted. The Anomaly the Architect was speaking about was The one or Neo, with the version we see throughout the films is the sixth version of Neo. However, in the first Versions of the Matrix, there was no need for the One and would not count to the six that the Architect referred to. If what Morpheus says in the first film is part of how 'the One prophecy' works then the First One would have been there at the beginning of Version 3.0 of the Matrix and the Second One would have ended it to restart it into the next cycle. The matrix trilogy is the franchise I most AND least want continued. I love the universe and concepts consistently dealt within it and always wanted to see more in full length movies, but even though I enjoyed all three significantly, it was on a downward trend I don't want my beloved franchise to become tainted. Fingers crossed.

My favorite... absolute favorite part from the matrix is when neo fights all the smith clones I watched that fight so many times and the music makes it so epic

To me, this kind of seems like the next iteration of the Matrix where instead of taking the Red Pill, Neo takes the blue pill to forget and suppress the truth about the Matrix...but since he is The One, the truth finds him still. Can't wait for this! looks like it will be epic!

I think the machines were able to revive him so he could be “the one” again in the new cycle but they’ve set him up to be constantly taking the blue pills so he doesn’t remember anything but over time & certain things trigger his memory

CORRECTION: It’s the SIXTH VERSION of THE ORACLE’S version of the Matrix. Neo is the SIXTH human anomaly. The Architect is not referencing his versions of the Matrix in that statement. His versions didn’t involve destroying Zion and resetting the anomaly code. That was The Oracle’s idea to give humanity a “choice” that would eventually lead to Neo choosing the other door in the name of love. The human crop flat out rejected The Architect versions because they were too perfect in both its HEAVEN version and it’s HELL version.

The Oracle is right, we may see Neo again, & again & again is what she didn't say to Sati. Neo now looks in a mirror & an old man or old residual self is seen. This is why the Oracle has trouble spotting him at first, though soon enough she will look past the image and find him. Again

Another thing is that the Matrix has been updated for modern times, as we can see in the trailer when Neo is in the elevator and people are using smartphones and tablets, totally alienated.

Back in reloaded the architect mention that there were five ones before Neo I hope resurrection can tell us who they were

Neo was a program, a sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation. He always returns because he is not a human which is why all the previous versions shown on the monitors all look the same. The architect calls him human but he is also misdirecting Neo at the time to avoid answering a question directly.

My favourite seen is the part where neo dodges all the bullets in slow mo and then trinity comes and shoots off the opp with a badass line too.

Think about this: It makes sense that the machines only have a given number of DNA-combinations. Easy to replicate and no eed to burn extra resources to find new combinations. Therefor, every time the cycle concludes and the Matrix is reset, they start over with the same material. This also connects to the theory that The Matrix is a cycle of 120-some years. If you're born on the verge of a reset, you live through it and grow old in the new matrix. After a 120 years or so, it repeats itself over and over in an infinite loop. Now, say there are a limited number of human dna combos (limited types of clones) and that the matrix has been reset. Enter the # clone og Neo/Thomas, yet this time the digital traces of his previous life (or lives) are somehow connected to him in the form of dreams (like stated in the trailer).

Only thing I've wondered was, at the end of reloaded, Neo seemed to have powers on the real world. They never explained was the matrix nested or what. Also, I thought a better ending would've been a small tiny group of humans running the machines, for some (fill in the reason), in order to (fill in the reason). Baby face mosaic was a disappointing avatar for the machines baddie.

I have a theory, that this is one of the instances before the matrix we know, where Morpheus found neo sooner than he did in later films

You ASSUME Neo died at the end. As you pointed out, he is carried off, so there is no answer to be had.

I think the Oracle's versions of the Matrix had been cycled 5 times prior to Neo's turn. The Paradise Matrix didn't include Zion. The Nightmare Matrix didn't include Zion either. Zion & the FALSE prophecy of the ONE was implemented after the 1st two Matrix failures (as described by the Architect & Smith).

The biggest question is why did the machines replug or “resurrect” Neo back into the rebooted Matrix? What use do they have for him? Neo saved Zion but we must remember that he also saved the Matrix. I theorize that Neo is not the One because he will liberate all humans from the Matrix, that’s only the illusion... the REAL reason he is the One is because he is the Savior of the Matrix itself. The Architect establishes control through the ILLUSION of free will. So though it may seem that Neo is acting under his own free will, it was all by design to keep the Matrix running and humans under control. The Matrix needs Neo.

Remember Agent Smith once said. There is no escaping this. Probably he's right.

I figure that the Machines used their advanced tech to rebuild Neo & Trinity’s bodies and revive them. With the kind of knowledge of human physiology the Machines clearly possessed combined with advanced biotech and nanotech, it’s plausible.

It wasn't confirmed he died, he just laid down as he was taken away. Most likely he got his mind wiped or that Neo isn't the Neo we know but another iteration which will end up remembering past lives.

I just heard about this. Hearing about "The Matrix Resurrection" hit me like a sack of bricks.

What if the Machines are recreating the events of the 1st Matrix to jog Keanu's memories, so too speak? What if they reconstructed Trinity & Morpheus to Resurrect The One because of some new threat to the Matrix? And... what if Keanu's body is no more & he's just a memory backup that exists only in the Matrix? 🤔♥️🇵🇭

I don't think anyone really died, it's been a long time since I watched the movies maybe there is a detail that completely debunks what I'm going to say but, if these people are computer programs that means there is a data, and that data should be available. and as we saw in the recent trailer, looks like the machines can repair bodies, so I guess if they wanted, they could preserve both your body and soul. but why bring them back exactly? I guess we will find out when the movie comes out, they probably have some sort of plan for neo and trinity and it's very crucial for the maintenance of matrix or something. from what I saw in the trailer, I'm assuming they are not reincarnations, if they are that's a completely different story.
