I love that Carrie Preston is headlining her own show. She mostly pops up in supporting roles, most notably in "The Holdovers", so it's great to finally see her in a leading role.

Crazy idea; Elsbeth's son is biracial..hear me out...what if Teddy isn't her ex husband's son but a result of another relationship and her ex helps raise him..just a thought

If Kaya becomes a detective. She will want take a more leadership role. This it will be interesting to see elsbeth try to intrude or take over an investigation. Then new detective Kaya put elsbeth in her place as she is in charge.
