I tried to watch the UK version and it wasn't very funny to me. It was hard to imagine it was actually supposed to be a comedy. I do like Ricky Gervais, but man it was a boring show.

I get they made Pam a little annoying in the last season but Jenna Fisher as Pam was awesome and didn't deserve hatemail. And Phylis doesn't just add to the ensemble, she was a great surprise. Every character was. They could have been boring but they ended up bringing something really special to all of them.

I just watched another video "50 facts you didnt know about the office" apparently it was mostly men hating on jenna because she became more outspoken and a stronger woman like becoming a salesman. Apparently men liked it better when she was quiet little walflower. She even stated that it just shows what those men are looking for in a gf. Your entitled to your own preferences but its pretty disgusting to go as far as sending hate mail to an actress because shes not living up to their fantasy

-In real life, Angela was Paul Lieberstein's (Toby) sister in law, once married to his brother, Warren Lieberstein. -Michael Shur (Mose) is the son in law of Regis Philbin. Until the arrival of Elie Kemper, (Erin), John Krazinski was the youngest cast regular member.

I like the Jim and Pam romance story because that is how some romances go -- people date, they get married, they have children, over 7 or 10 years of their life. Not as much like Ross and Rachel who normally should have broken up and stayed broken up, not get back together and then break up again and again, over another set of 10 years (ie, this is done for ratings, not for the plot of character development).

Steve Carrell was amazing as Michael, no one can replace him. They just should have ended the show after 7 years when Steve left. All the characters were awesome but the show needed Michael. 😄

“Fact” #10 - False. Anybody who listens to the Office Ladies podcast knows that for the first season, none of the background characters (characters out of the main of Jim, Pam, Dwight, and Michael) had internet access. In fact, none of them had functioning computers. They were fake computers.

She is generally unlikeable as a person. Unfaithful. Bitchy. Had wandering eyes in both relationships she had on the show. & to top it off, she never showed any kind of true virtue. At the end of season 8, I ended up liking Angela more than Pam.

@@daver1161 what are you even talking about! she was tolerant of everyone's nonsense. she didn't end her relationship even when she knew she could have a much better partner, Jim. she supported jim with her career away from home while working and handling two kids all alone. she didn't complain once when Jim had bought a home for them without discussing at all. and she didn't wander around judging people and being mean. she even rooted for Dwight and Angela even when both of them, especially Angela kept being mean to her. she stood up to Jim once and that saved their marriage. I don't know what did you see, but I saw a loving character.

I’m just rewatching because, WHY NOT? Anyways I agree with Jenna and Angela! On “OFFICE LADIES PODCAST” they said they blame Toby about telling Michael Oscar’s Gay. He knows Michael can hold a secret or control himself, he should’ve just kept it to correcting Michael! Well the cat’s out of the bag.

Dont take my word on it but if I remember correctly, she said in an interview or something that people started to hate Pam when she started standing up for herself more. Thats probably why they used the scene from the bonfire because thats when she starts to be honest with everyone. Or it could be some other reason why.
