I'm glad they included male celebrities because even they have their share what should look like. This isn't talked about much because of society stating how men don't care about what they look, but that isn't true. Men have their share body issues and insecurities, and we should take that into account.

I used to wear makeup every day when I was younger, but it did more harm to my face than good. I had terrible acne, but Alicia Keys has inspired me to stop wearing makeup as often. Since then, it really helped my acne go down and I started to feel more comfortable without makeup. Thank you, Alicia.

The body hair thing is so annoying. People keep telling others that body hair is unhygienic. If it really was, would human evolution have gotten rid of body hair completely? Lack of hygiene can lead to deadly consequences. I am a hairy woman and have met hairy people. We all would have ended up 💀or very sick.

Yes! Hair is there for a reason, its meant to protect the skin! Its cool to be hygenic, but its not ok to be excessive exaggerated. We aren't meant to be pure self loathed plastic and porcalin. Love thyself!

It's crazy, because Andrew Lincoln (no hate on him, I love him) can cry so "ugily", with snot running out of his nose and it is called "amazing acting!" But if a woman dares furrow her brows or has red eyes from crying, the whole scene has to be refilmed. These standards are crazy. That director needs to get it together and understand what true acting is.

Great segment. There are way too many celebs who could be on this list! Adele: gotta lose weight if you want to succeed! They were Wrong. Black women: change your hair! All women: gotta be skinny. So proud of Kathy Bates for that naked scene with Jack Nicholson, but Jack got all the attention and no critiques for him getting old/flabby, just compliments: double standard! Great segment!

I am 41, and a professional. I have extremely sensitive mixed skin- nordic/italian. I dont use make up and occasional have blemishes. I have been told that not wearing make up makes me look unprofessional or 'younger'. Though, i think - do you want the work done right or for workers to be attractive? With my degrees and (recognized/awards given) excellent work, i do wonder if I would be farther up the food chain if i wore heels and make up. - // mojo, Thanks for this list - I am just sick of these over the top beauty standards across the board.

I do think there's a beauty standard, and I do think Billie is not pretty or sexy, but that doesn't mean I don't like her. What I hate is people trying to brainwash me about the beauty standard. Like telling me that man is handsome, when I sincerely disagree, they instantly stand on the high moral ground saying people see beauty in different ways. Like, seriously, ugly is ugly.

Bear with me, I know this question is sexist, but I only ask it out of curiosity. Diet and exercise routines, but only to understand if there are healthy ways that both men and women achieve their results, but they should only be asked in maybe health magazines or a study. Because I want celebrities to be healthy when they do these roles. If they expose the dangers of fitting into those body standards, maybe things may gradually change. That is the idealist in me talking.

it's one thing to love yourself, but it's another to recognize that your body positivity is sending the wrong type of message to the public. being overweight is not a good thing, and yes for most people losing that weight is just not practical either, and weight on or off, it won't change what type of person you are. celebs like these should encourage healthy eating as much as getting exercise and clapping back at fatphobic comments. you can love your body and try to improve it at the same time.
