Here's a fun one; an old influencer named HERO was a prominent youtuber who played Terraria. On the eve of launching one of their biggest patches, Re:Logic gave him exclusive early access to show off some of the content in a livestream. Viewers criticized his gameplay because he was playing poorly when he normally played at a much higher level. The criticism got to him WAY more than it should have, and he launched into a tirade of nonsensical and sometimes hilarious tangents, like crying while saying he had a big di... male member. He was told by the developers to just stop streaming, but not until he had already destroyed his reputation. Notch, the guy who made Minecraft, even said that it was sad to watch. That was something you had to be there for to fully enjoy. He made a total fool of himself because he couldn't just take a little harmless banter from literal nobodies on the internet.

Ray William Johnson covered this on his channel and all I could think was "They found out because you showed them you were committing a crime, where it was, and even TOLD THE POLICE on stream to come out and stop you! What did you think was going to happen, you idiot?!" Take notes, aspiring criminal masterminds. This is a perfect example of what NOT to do when committing a crime.
