Despite everything on this list; the most heartwarming moment from "The Late Late Show with James Corden" is when James gave a rather heartfelt monologue on the show about how he as a dad was absolutely horrified and grief-stricken over the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Stating that as a dad he can't imagine how on a school day after he dropped off his kids at school and kissed them goodbye that he would then get a phone call informing him that one or both of his kids were the victims of a school shooting. The shooting at Robb Elementary School was the third time in my life that I have cried over the deaths of young children. The first time was when I got the news that twenty children were murdered by a deranged madman at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14th, 2012 and the second time was when I heard that seven children lost their lives at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma following a violent and destructive EF5 tornado that hit Moore on May 20th, 2013.

I remember he was playing Spill Your Guts with someone and James was asked to name several crew members or eat something gross. He couldn’t name a single crew member. Said something along the lines of “It’s a different crew!” but I lost whatever little respect I had for him in that moment.

To be honest with you no 1 doesn't me. If a gay person tried to portray a straight person they'd be praised for their wonderful, especially when they are gay, but when it's the other way round people get offended. It seems quite hypocritical if you ask me.

i'm no fan of corden, but to single him out as a straight man playing a gay character, he certainly hasn't been the only one. Stanley Tucci, Nathan Lane and Robin Williams spring to mind, along with Richard E Grant, Guy Pierce, Jake Gylenhall, Heath Ledger, and many, many more.

Just because a man has a beard doesn't mean he's straight. Most don't care what his "orientation" is. Corden alienated many, but that doesn't mean he lacks talent. Too many of us conflate humiliation and humility. May his move help him find humility and perspective. May we ALL find that in our lives.

I'm not a big fan of the guys'comedy and presentation though he clearly has talent and charisma. But the guy can't catch a break, damned if you do damned if you don't. People are ready to hate him no matter what he does. So he can't win regardless.

I haven't seen the film Prom but he personally shouldn't criticized for taking a role. It should be the studios job to cast a gay actor in the first place. You are expecting him to turn down probably millions when no one else would do the same. The rest are all his fault though especially the Patrick Stewart beef
