I am politically apathetic. I don't enjoy too much exposition, subtext complex philosophy. I am not dumb. I am not gifted. I do not have the eyes to be a leader of family and legacy generations. I'm only simple minded, cooperative, and curious. I feel like my mindset. Is like that of a child and baby. I may be a young adult. But, I feel nervous, timid, and scared to be a leader. I do not fit in the political landscape world.

Philosophical Views From Margaret Thatcher. "I think we have gone through a period when too many children and people have been given to understand "I have a problem, it is the Government's job to cope with it!" or "I have a problem, I will go and get a grant to cope with it!" "I am homeless, the Government must house me!" and so they are casting their problems on society and who is society? There is no such thing! There are individual men and women and there are families and no government can do anything except through people and people look to themselves first. It is our duty to look after ourselves and then also to help look after our neighbour and life is a reciprocal business and people have got the entitlements too much in mind without the obligations".

The Norsefire political party. Has homages to the Nazi Party and the views of Adolf Hitler. This has nothing to do with Margaret Thatcher at all. Since in the world of V For Vendetta, Margaret Thatcher lost the election of Britain. Which led to the creation of Norsefire.

V for Vendetta was a very powerful movie. The Guy Fawkes mask has become such an iconic symbol in Anarchism and the phrase “people shouldn’t be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people.” It has certain inspired many anti government groups and incited some of craziest political riots in the 21st Century.

There is another film that affected the real world. Not necessarily a feature film. It’s more of a collection of short films. That being the British stop motion short film series Wallace & Gromit. Around the time of the release of the first three short films, the Wendslydale cheese factory was running into financial difficulties and was at risk of declaring bankruptcy. However because Nick Park made the decision to have Wendslydale be Wallace’s favourite brand of cheese in the shorts, it caused sales of that brand to sky rocket, it saved the factory and the brand soon became synonymous with the Yorkshire Cheese loving inventor and his intelligent dog.

I'd say that positive effect of a movie was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Most comedic of them all, it tackled the issue of decreasing numbers of humpbacks and whale hunting as such. Although it did not have immediate effect, throughout the years humpbacks bounced back from extinction.

The philosophic conundrum 'how do we know that our reality is actually real?' has been around for hundreds of years. However, the question came into mainstream consciousness with The Matrix films. When studying for my philosophy degree, these concepts and themes were regularly contextualised and illustrated by references to The Matrix movies.

There is one movie that should be on here, the South Korean movie "Silenced" which is of course based on a book....based on the horrific real life events that went down in this South Korean school which I won't say here but the students...dear god it was HORRIBLE for them, an investigation was launched but all the teachers who done those things to those children got off scott free, no punishment! It wasn't until the actor for the movie (Gong Yoo) read teh book himself and was so angry about what he read he demanded a movie to be made about it...which then changed South Korea as a whole, he even said the movie was the proudest he ever made (and he SHOULD feel proud). The movie caused an outcry from the public regarding how the court handeld the case so it was re-opened and those teachers were finally caught and sent to prison. Thanks to "Silenced", it a new law was made known as the Dogani Law (named after the Korean title of the movie). It's a movie that...you have to be brave to watch. Because it is VERY mean spirited, it is based on the true events that went down and it makes you angry with how things turn out which was the intent of the film...very well done but not for everybody.

Loved the topic of this movie and I think a companion piece of this movie being made, the topic being the effect of literary works on society, both modern and classic works. One of the most influential writer being Charles Dickens, examples of Christmas traditions due to "Christmas Carol" and how the life of children of convicts especially who have to stay with parent in jail due to no other caregiver improved by "The Great Expectations"

Upton Sinclair's 'The Jungle' led to large overhauls in food safety in the United States, after it portrayed meat plants as causing employees to lose their limbs, which would then be ground in with other meats. It was not Sinclair's intention, as he'd really wanted to show the plight of immigrant laborers in the US. As Sinclair famously said, "I meant to hit the public in the heart, and I accidentally hit it in the stomach."

It is horrible that some people actually hunted sharks because of a MOVIE. I have never seen Jaws in full, but I still dislike it because of the negative portrayal of sharks. It created more prejudice against sharks, and this shark prejudice could have contributed to sharks’ endangerment because some people are still less likely to sympathise with sharks as much as, say, pandas, because they view them as man-eating, dangerous animals due, in part, to movies like Jaws and Sharknado and The Meg. This is also similar to how I hate the movie The Grey, despite never having seen it, as it depicted wolves, animals who already had a villainous reputation in the movies and stories, as vicious man-eaters, which, again, they are not. Apparently, the actors also ate wolf meat during filming. Absolutely disgusting. It is actually extremely rare for healthy, wild wolves to attack humans; they are generally very wary animals that avoid humans. You are more likely to get killed in a room full of people (especially strangers) than in a forest with wolves. Please do the wolves and sharks a favour; next time you see or hear of a movie that portrays them as bad, speak up and kindly contact the makers about it!

@@legendarynaga i think wolves are pretty cute sometimes. And piranhas just look like cute normal fishes until their teeth bare. All of these animals have the capacity for cuteness.

I saw jaws on the 3rd day that I had moved to Hawaii. It was weeks before I got in the ocean.

I watched Jaws as a kid and the first thing I did, was to read about sharks. No internet then, only libraries and books my parents provided me with. I loathed the film ever since, since it depicted such an incorrect approach (starting with the fact, that people kill more animals and each other than any other species per day) and made the animals the villains, when it often should be humans.

@@marikothecheetah9342 well, sharks kill, it's just not as vicious and calculated as movies or stories try to make it out to be. But sharks definitely kill. Read the case studies of the USS Indianapolis as a start. Read Bethany Hamilton's story. Read the official case studies of Australia's Great Barrier reef, read those of Portugal. They are called killers for a reason.

@@donaldholderdoc2910 I did. Sharks kill humans, because they treat them like prey, there is no viscious tendencies AND, most sharks that do that are older and humans are very slow and easy prey. However, if any other prey available, sharks will choose the familiar, not the extra (i.e. humans)

@@marikothecheetah9342 Not a very good comparison in numbers when you consider there are over 7 billion humans verses less than 15,000 'man eating' sharks. Tiger sharks are by far the deadliest. With Great whites falling somewhere between 3 and 4. Most of the top estimates suggest there are 300 to as many as 450 species of sharks with approximately 100+ million. Despite these numbers, sharks are considered an endangered species. Per the Oceanic Institute of Australia and The National Geographic Institute and The NOAA(National Oceanic & Atmospheric Council)

@@donaldholderdoc2910 "Not a very good comparison in numbers when you consider there are over 7 billion humans verses less than 15,000 'man eating' sharks." - why? You are writing about the numbers of shark species but claim that a massive numbers of humans should not be compared to numbers of any other species? It's ridiculous. We are the most invasive, destructible and numerous species on this planet (even insects starts to fall behind in some cases, and we only lose to bacteria and viruses nowadays), but it is not a good comparison, because there are fewer sharks than people. XD Sharks kill. Roughly 7 people per year. Now, let's limit this to the U.S. alone - how many deaths of other species? Or even the same species? Your anthropocentric point of view doesn't change the fact that no animal, even the deadliest ones, comes close to the numbers of kills done by humans. Luckily some of us prefer to protect than to kill, but it's a long way and stereotypes about animals, such as those about sharks do not help in any way. People can do without one damn beach in their life, but some species cannot do without their part of the ocean.

They mentioned Bambi effect, also anthropocentrism. Bambi did not eat people, the white great in the movie did. You're talking apples and oranges here.
