The thing about the Marley situation is that Marley did wear the Katy costume for a personal agenda. But Mr. Schue doesn’t know that. Not only this, but Marley had recently been recovering from *bulimia* which Will knows about. He should’ve taken that into account. Furthermore, he let Rachel get away with sending an innocent student to a *crackhouse* which could have gotten the entire glee club *banned* from competing. But Marley doesn’t wear a seashell bikini and she gets suspended?

I absolutely hated the scene where he berated Marley for not wearing a bikini. If she wasn't comfortable with it he should have left her alone.

Marley was suspended for not wearing the shell bikini, but Rachel got no ramification for sending someone to a CRACK HOUSE. (also I hate the intro when he goes “uHHHHhh-“)

I agree that one of the worst Mr.Shue moments is when Marley didn't wear a bikini during a performance because she wasn't comfortable wearing one, and Mr.Shue suspended her. I don't think a teacher can suspend a student for not wearing a bikini, andt was extremely rude and inappropriate it of him to basically threaten her into wearing something she wasn't comfortable wearing.

Other terrible stuff he did: 1: He kissed Beiste because he felt sorry because the coach had never been kissed. 2: He constantly promoted boys vs. girls competitions, which clearly made Kurt very uncomfortable (and never let Kurt join the girls) 3: He allowed his Glee club go to several competitions without proper rehearsal, including that one time they went on to the Nationals without a setlist (the song was written by the students in the hotel in NY). 4: He generally disregarded what the students wanted to sing (as pointed out by both Puck and Rachel in the first episode featuring Holly Holiday) 5: Rachel was always given the solos by default, and whenever someone else asked for a solo, instead of accepting, he promoted a "diva-off". 6: His hair was full of grease and his vests were hideous.

This wasn’t even just him being a bad person, it was him being downright creepy. Why didn’t he get fired after countless performances of him dancing like that with children. He dedicated an ENTIRE WEEK to twerking with minors

The thing I hate most about Mr Shue is that he ALWAYS gives the lead solos to either Finn or Rachel. Like, in West side story Rachel gets the lead, but its clearly Santana that stole the whole damn show. Like, more of the glee students like Mike, Santana or even Quinn should take lead roles in musicals or competitions.

Can we also discuss that Mr.Shue sang the wrong version of La Cucaracha, he sang the offensive version that perpetuates the dangerously stereotypical image that Mexican people smoke weed and are drug addicts

Him not standing up for Ryder should be number 1. He opened up about being molested and everyone congratulated him while Mr Schue said absolutely nothing to correct them

The whole "The Spanish teacher" episode is proof that Will shouldn't be a teacher 😬 and so is the episode about twerking 😅

I'm glad him suspending Marley was so high on the list. As someone who really tries to dress modestly, I can't imagine being told to show off my body for a school project, and even worse, being suspended when I refuse.

Love him or hate him but one thing for sure is that he was never a teacher to those kids. Throughout the series all he did was gave them assignment, told them to prepare all by themselves and later enjoyed the show. That's it.

The fact that Mercedes, Santana and in my opinion even Tina actually sound better than Rachel as well as Kurt Artie and later on Sam and Blaine sounding better than Finn, and yet schue STILL gave them more songs is shocking

For being a "teacher" that supports diversity and being an all empathetic person... he was not the best boyfriend/fiancé or even teacher. Stealing Finn's jacket in a moment of grief to Santana was awful! He never apologized to Finn for being mean to him. Rachel did worse things (Run Joey Run video, sending Sunshine to a crack house, the mattress commercial, etc) and she was never suspended. Marley was so fragile and he got angry with her being uncomfortable in a bikini. Wasn't the Glee Club all about support, Mr Schue? Oh! And when the Glee members went to do other stuff (joining the Cheerios, practice other stuff) he got mad with them, for trying other stuff than being in the background voices for the Finchel duets. Another bad part? He was a slut. He was dating Emma and kissed Shelby, lived with April... and then he flirted with Emma and tried to steal Emma from Carl. Not nice, dude. And I could be naming more... I'm rewatching Glee and I had cringe moments watching him in some scenes.

The fact is, even after they discussed the fact that Will favored Rachel and Finn more then anyone else, on multiple occasions. He never once stopped favoring them

Totally agree with the number one. I hate how he always gave Rachel almost all the solos. I remember just 1 episode when Rachel doesn't sing, and that episode gave us Valerie. And also, I love all the performances of the Troubletons. Santana and Mercedes were the best without any doubt, but Shue was an extension of Ryan Murphy, always let Rachel (Lea) shine, even if that means not letting others show their amazing talent.

He was definitely the worst character on Glee.

The weirdest Mr. Shuester moment for me was when he kissed Coach Beiste and touch a touch me.

And this is why I never liked Will, Emma deserved better, and why the kids needed a better teacher. A child told him he was sexuality abused and he did nothing. A student was uncomfortable wearing a bikini and he frickin suspended her. And don't get me started on his favoritism towards Rachel.

This list made me so happy because I didn’t think anyone saw how horrible a person Mr Shue was other than myself. I couldn’t stand that man getting away with everything. The only positive I saw was that I shed light that adults weren’t perfect people and that they were just human.

I think his coming on to Sue and then standing her up was totally awful. We all know that Sue can be horrible but then you see her with her sister and you know that Sue is covering a lot of pain. It doesn't make her any less obnoxious, but she opened herself and then Will does that to her. In most cases it would just be rude but to to that to Sue is terrible.

Will was talked up as being a wonderful teacher, but he was actually pretty terrible. One of the worst cases was when Quinn once causally quipped that she feels like punching Rachel in the face whenever she speaks, while Will was present, and he said and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! School administrators are supposed to take passive aggressive taunts like that seriously, even if it's said jokingly. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

The ridiculous thing was that he was the best role model to the Glee kids!

Biggest issue, his character seemed to need to feel like on e of the kids, he has talent, but as only their teacher 👨‍🏫 he couldn’t show off, so it came across as Uber creepy!! And come on, can we just say that glee was unrealistic, in every way, but yeah him as a teacher was wrong!!

Ok I know Mr Shue was crazy at times, but can we at least appreciate that Matthew Morrison made the best with what was given, the dude LITERALLY put his heart and soul into every song and performance he did and was an amazing dancer too. It's a bit sad to me that the actor doesn't get as much credit like the other younger (and therefore more appealing to the audience at the time) character ones did (even though they were mostly the same age hahahaha)

Also why hasn’t Matthew Morrison EVER commented about that stank behavior. I’ve been in many a play, (never have my characters been this wack) and if my character was this CRAY I would probably feel weird, well maybe I wouldn’t because the bulk of acting took place in high school before I grew up a bit. But at the age Matthew was I definitely would ACKNOWLEDGE 😅

The fact that he didn't report Rachel for sending a student to a crack house and only made her apologize is one thing. But getting upset when Santana slaps Finn and telling her that she needs to have consequences for her actions is another. He was just horrible he let kids get bullied, denied a trans women the right to use a bathroom so he could twerk with children, asked a 19 year old to be his best man because "he taught him more about being a man than anyone" is just creepy. I'm pretty sure if he was a teacher now he would've been fired and most likely arrested because unlike TV world parents care if their student is being taught by a creep teacher. Literally the only time he proved no to be a predator was the episode where Rachel had a crush on him and he was obviously extremely uncomfortable with it.

0:15 I literally am sitting here and said “ughh the twerking” like when I watched this in high school I was like “Will is pretty down” and now recently I’ve discovered a lot of people talking about how creepy he was and I was like 🥺🥺 and now as an adult looking back I’m like “yeah he was inappropriate, many a time”

I was kind of pissed about the episode with Ricky Martin because the first few episodes of gLee, they showed Mr. Schue in class being fairly competent at speaking Spanish. He was at least conversational (which for many schools is impressive) then magically not know even the simplest words in Spanish by season 3 or 4.

Sue was right, Mr Schue needs to find some adult friends. This man's really about to cancel his own wedding because none of his student's can make it 😭

So are we all just gonna ignore the real number one? The time he denied bathroom security to a young transgender student a.k.a. Unique the best thing to happen to this show after season 3? Unique was bullied and abused because of being openly trans at Lima Heights, particularly because of using the bathroom she felt most comfortable in. Her performance of If I Were a Boy made me cry so hard my eyes felt sore. And yet Schuester refused to provide Unique with something she needed to keep her education environment safe, because of... twerking? Sue was right to call him out on that, because that made him just as guilty of bullying as those transphobic students. And the fact that when Will actually stopped twerking that the show framed it as a tough decision and a sorrowful moment fills me with visceral rage

I'm amazed the moment where he told Emma that she wasn't being a role model for the Glee kids by not putting OCD on her "flaws I'm accepting" shirt, isn't on this list, like why should she have to tell her students that? And then suggested that eating unwashed fruit would be her "taking a step" to conquer it? Just....what the hell???

Okay but #3 I always was bothered by. I tried to justify it when I was 15 but I just couldn’t, it’s very messed up.
