I just wanted to leave a comment here to let you know that your affirmation meditation videos got me through my labor and birth!! I breathed through all of my contractions while trusting my body and my baby was here before I knew it. Thank you so much for your time and effort into making all of your videos. Your KZfaq channel was an essential tool that I used throughout my last trimester and labor. My labor only lasted 2 hours, it was unbelievable!! I believe it was because I ate 6 dates a day for the last 4-6 weeks of my pregnancy (I can’t remember when I started the dates) and I took Birth Prep pills from 36 weeks until birth. My baby was 6 days past his due date so I naturally induced (with my midwife’s OK) with midwives brew once in the morning and again 4 hours later to keep surges going since they slowed down before my second batch. Within an hour after taking the 2nd batch I was in labor and my baby was here in 2 hours! I was amazed on how fast it happened. Everything went way better than what I could’ve asked/prayed for. Again, I just wanted to share with you the role you played in my birth story even if it was over KZfaq. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work 🖤✨

With God’s Grace I was able to go unmedicated labour without epidural for my second son on February 5th 2022, I reached hospital at 3:30 am was 7 cm dilated and by 6:30 am I was 10cm and baby was born at 7:14 am. Thanks for your videos. And Praise God!

Great video! Just had my second babe 3 weeks ago & I already do some of these & I definitely agree about the last tip. It makes SUCH a difference in how stressed or relaxed I am. Clean spaces with not too much clutter (toys) - especially the living room where my toddler plays most of the day/ make me so much more relaxed during the day.

I just started my maternity leave a week ago. I'm currently 39 week pregnant with my second child. At night, during my free time, I'm working on a digital art project as a hobby before baby get here. I find that I've been going to bed at 1-2am when I work on the computer before bed. As before, when I was still working full-time, I was going to bed at 11pm. As soon, as you said, "blue light". You reminded me to grab my blue light glasses that I always forget to wear.

Your videos prepared me so much for mom-hood! My post partum doula also suggested night time diapers as they are super absotbant and keep the baby dry. We do use those paired with EC which works wells! Could you do a video on high lipase milk? I didn't know about lipase and thought that my bbay bottles were never clean enough and making the milk go "bad". It took nearly 7 months to figure it all out And SO much stress.

Any strategies to help with this? I feel like it’s so bad it’s going to affect my labour.

@threearrows2248
@threearrows2248 2 жыл бұрын
Cosleeping helps a lot. Also, SIDS is not only due to vaccines, but look into it. The US has the highest SIDS rate and the most vaccines in the first 12 months. At the end of the day you have to trust God and enjoy your baby. It goes by quickly, you don't want to regret not enjoying it due to anxiety.

For me, I had a missed miscarriage while I still had pregnancy symptoms. I still felt nausea badly, boobs hurt, had to pee all the time etc. I had ultrasound 8wk+5 and everything was good. Then when I should have been 10wk+1, I had another ultrasound because I fainted from blood work earlier that morning. This ultrasound showed no cardic activity & ultrasound tech said estimated gestational age was 9wk+1, meaning my L.O. passed away a week ago. I waited a few more days, then took cytotec (I was instructed to take it vaginally). I started to bleed about 8hrs later. But, I still had some tissue that needed to come out so the medication route didn't work completely in my case. But then, some time a few weeks later everything cleared from my body. Your choice is up to you. Your body will eventually pass everything but the longer your the higher the risk of infection & that's why they tell you to choose cyototec or D&C. In my experience, medication route was very hard emotionally to have to keep waiting for something to happen & then when my body started to pass everything I cried and cried b/c it was so hard to see all this come out of me and wonder what could have been.

@@roar44879 I'm so sorry you had to experience that Rachel. My doctor didn't even tell me about medication - I would have opted for a d&c anyway. The doctor who did it was gentle and kind and I took meds to make me dilate and then get really comfortable, and I was basically high when they took him out. No pain at all, and it was all finished there. No side effects that I know about, and like I said, I just had a super healthy pregnancy and delivery. My son is 2 months now.

Good to note: we as parents use the sound machine to fall asleep too, because our 1month old don’t sleep quietly 🤣 also, I don’t fall asleep so easily - I do a quick breathing technique and try to clear my mental chatter. You should be able to smell the difference if you hold baby fully clothed up to your nose. Breastfed newborn poo is very inoffensive with a sweet smell to it and a well hydrated baby's urine doesn't have any/much odour at all. If your sense of smell is weak from allergies or past surgery, you might like to put baby in a gown at night to give you easy access for a visual inspection.

That’s what diapers are… babies sit in pee during the day too. No difference. I never change either of my kids at night unless they pooped. It’s very hard for them to fall back asleep after. Diaper companies brag about keeping babies feeling dry and fast absorbency because diapers are meant to be able to stay on for hours. It’s impossible to change your baby every single time they pee immediately. You would never be able to get anything else done…

My child suffers from atopic dermatitis and we must change his diaper after every night feed, otherwise his skin is red, itchy and wounded in the morning. He now sleeps through it, as he got used to it and his skin is healthy after night. We learnt the hard way not to trust diaper companies, they will tell you anything you want to hear to sell you the product. If it doesn't hurt your baby, it is because they have strong skin but yes, it does receive harsh treatment the whole night if you don't change the diaper. 🤷
@SarahdayZ

@@biza2571 I understand. You have a unique situation. My babies have never even had a rash. So it depends on the child’s needs. You do what’s best for you.
