Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is one of those best and underrated films ever. The songs are brilliant, the acting is brilliant, and the cameo's are brilliant. Andy Samberg's performance is so genuine. I can talk about this film all day long. 👑

God, I love the heck out of Kung Pow. I got that on disc and still watch it to this day. It never gets old for me

One movie that should totally be on this list is Dragnet. A winning combination of Dan Akroyd and Tom Hanks. Also, Dan is a total dead ringer for Joe Friday!

Kung Pow is up there with Holy Grail and Blazing Saddles for me. My friends and I back in college saw it several times in the theater and then we watched the DVD repeatedly. There is a alternate track that is the original dialog which made it even funnier to us. We had memorized the whole damn thing. 20 years later I will watch it anytime but my wife hates it. Says it is one of the dumbest things she's ever watched. So odds are that's how you are going to view it. Appears to be no middle ground.

Bowfinger could’ve been a comedy classic, but the Church of Scientology put a stop to it because the film involves a subplot in which Murphy’s character is connected to a group called “Mindhead” which is obviously a parody of Scientology, long before Tom Cruise made it infamous.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story - best "grasping for an Academy Award biopic" parody ever made. And the soundtrack is awesome on top of it!

Most of those movies I have seen and owned. Grandmas Boy is the most criminal due to cast, the jokes, and even in the background there is some funny signs. I think it should have been ranked higher.

Gosh, turns out most the comedies I like are the underappreciated ones. I liked a lot of these. I also loved all the Naked Gun films.

Accepted, Blankman, Grandma's Boy, and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping are definitely all extremely good and way too underrated.

The Three Stooges 2012 never gets any love. Sure it's got nothing on the show, but you got to admit the portrayals and all the gags are pretty spot-on. Definitely a lot of heart put in that movie

This is a great video, and I love that you mentioned Popstar, because it was honestly tragic that it didn't do better in theatres. Not only is it super funny and well made, but the songs are awesome. Really deserves more love

For me the most underrated comedy was Waiting with Ryan Reynolds. What a funny, funny movie

I always liked Raising Arizona from the 1980's. It has a ton of great actors before they got really big and famous.

The Birdcage still makes me laugh! Robin Williams was fantastic and Hank Azaria was just so goofy! I love that movie!

The Golden Child was actually intended to be a pure adventure movie with Mel Gibson (I think?), and when the lead role was changed to Eddie Murphy, they let him do some funny stuff. The plot itself still has very little comedic potential.

The part in Bowfinger when Eddie runs across the street screaming OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD.....!'"was hilarious to my first love.. And now even tho she's passed away, I still laugh at her laughing at that. MEMORIES

So this list is basically my movie collection. Cause I have 98 percent of these movies. And I still love going back and watching them.

One of the best parts of Kung Pow are all of the alternate line readings done by Steve Oedekirk. The one I remember from the bonus features was "Isn't Betty a Woman's name" was dubbed from "Isn't Trouble a Family Game"

I rewatched Kung Pow for the first time in years and showed it to my kids. Much funnier than I remembered, but just as dumb, lol.

I think Office Space should have been included, even though by now it’s one of the most beloved movies ever.

This is literally a list of my favorite comedies. I couldn't believe how many you nailed. The only one missing was Fear of a Black Hat.

Rat Race is amazing. The pure insanity of it all is amazing.

The most under appreciated comedy I’ve ever seen is Disorganized Crime. It is hilariously quotable with lots of notable faces such as Ed O’Neill, Rubén Blades, Corbin Bernsen, Fred Gwynne, Lou Diamond Phillips and others. It’s a funny crime caper that any scene with Ed O’Neill or Rubén Blades is gold! They are insanely hilarious in this, especially Blades’ quips! He is awesome! Please do yourself a favor and watch this movie.

Rat Race is one of my favorite movies! I rewatch it every couple of years

The movie Noises Off from 1992, is one that is terrific. The movie is heavy with comedic actors!!

Good list. I'm surprised people consider Birdcage and Three Amigos underappreciated. Maybe it's just the lack of awareness of these films in the more modern eye. Also would love to recommend Evolution for this list. David Duchuvny, Orlando Jones, and Seann William Scott performing well to their types in a wonderful science fiction parody that also satirizes the mundanity of suburban life. Also underrated considering it's an Ivan Reitman film. It may not be Ghostbusters, but it's very much in the same vein.

One of my favorites that I rarely hear others bring up is "Be Kind Rewind". Maybe I just have a poor taste in movies lol

Grandmas Boy is one of the best movies ever. Worth watching every time. Got to be into 420 movies though. Some real good ones on here. Was fun to watch. Great video

The two :Hot Shots" movies: both filled with silly one-off visual gags, slapstick humour, and clever running gags (and a nice meta Charlie Sheen-Martin Sheen "Wall Street" gag). There's such a high volume of jokes that it doesn't matter if one doesn't land, as the next one is only seconds away.

One of the most overlooked and BEST comedies is the Dracula parody from 1978: Love At First Bite. Starring George Hamilton and Susan Saint James, along with a roster of other well-known and well remembered performers, this pre-Airplane comedy is filled with spoofs of Dracula tropes, as well as one liners. In the story Count Dracula is evicted from his castle in Romania by the Communist Government, and is forced to relocate to New York City. Accompanied by his lacky Renfield, Dracula quickly discovers that in 'a city where cab drivers ride around in little cages' who's afraid of a bat. Indeed, 'I am not a bat (to these New Yorkers, He tells Renfield), no, I'm a black chicken, I'm a yenta with skinny legs!'. Still this film is one of the best. A second overlooked comedy is the Classic The Gods Must Be Crazy. Set in South Africa this film can't be explained, it simply must be viewed. So funny.

Walk Hard should be on this list . So underrated especially if you know anything about music history and hate biopics

Mad love for Bowfinger, watch it every time it comes on, it is gets funnier on multiple viewings because of so much you missed the previous time around.

props on a great list. Two of my favorite movies are on here: Burn after Reading @ #10 and Bowfinger @ #1. For me these are HIGHLY rated comedies. Another honorable mention I would suggest is "What About Bob? ". It's a well known movie but I think it should have classic status.

Nothing to Lose is a comedy no one ever talks about, but is genuinely funny and relatable. And, the scene where Nick Beam (Tim Robbins) freaks out over a spider crawling on his head, catches his shoes on fire and dances in an attempt to put them out to the tune of "Scatman" is classic, and perhaps the only scene many people have seen from the film due to the numerous uploads on KZfaq. I love the whole movie and watch it whenever I need a good laugh.

Omg I was cracking up with this list! I've seen every single movie except Popstar. I love you man is on Netflix and plan to rewatch it.

I love you Man is one of my absolute favorites. Two others that are underrated are The Money Pit and Opportunity Knocks.

What about Real Genius from 1985? Or the film Up The Creek from 1984? You are also missing out on the Porky's films from the early 80s

Run Ronnie Run is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and I had never heard of it before I watched it.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil should definitely be on this list....

Solid list, I loved seeing Rat Race, The Golden Child, The Burbs, and I Love You Man on the list. I don't think Three Amigos is underrated, so I'm not mad it didn't make the list, it's rightfully a classic. I would have added Forgetting Sarah Marshall to the list though, that movie is criminally underappreciated. Some others that don't get enough love are Quick Change (Bill Murray, Geena Davis, and Randy Quaid), The Odd Couple II (Walter Matheau and Jack Lemmon), Just Friends (Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart), Kingpin (Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, Bill Murray), and Along Came Polly (Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston, Philip Seymour Hoffman).

Hard to believe these movies are considered under-appreciated! I think I’ve only not seen 2 of em’ & only didn’t really care for maybe 1 & 1/2 others? “How bout of All Time is one of my Favorite re-quotes of All Time* Gold List! 👍💯

I hope comedy movies make more of a comeback in the near future. After everything the world has gone through in recent years, I think we all need a good laugh. Laughter is truly healing and good for the soul. The Birdcage, Rat Race and The Three Amigos are all hilarious! I need to check out a few of these others.

The Birdcage was actually my introduction to gay culture when I was a kid. And honestly I don’t think I could’ve gotten a better introduction. Although it was funny when I saw a bunch of ladies dancing on stage in the opening singing we are family to go off and see a bunch of guys with bulges in their underwear that was kind of confusing lol! But not a year goes by I don’t put this film on and love it from beginning to end it is fascinating it is respectable to the LGBTQ community. Nathan lane is a freaking laugh riot allowing himself just to be a screaming queen as he puts it. Robin Williams plays the gay straight man Perfectly and the dramatic moment in this movie hit really well along with the comedic. One of my favorites is a mistake they left and we’re in the kitchen they were all having a meltdown William slips and the other actors you can tell are really trying to hold it in not to laugh as they try to recover the scene they left it in the movie and it is by far one of the best scenes and that’s saying a lot out of so many fantastic ones. If you haven’t seen it dance I’m down to the birdcage you will not regret it

Top Secret is the funniest movie I've ever seen. It was Val Kilmer's debut role and was written and directed by Jim Abrahams and the Zucker brothers. The first time I watched it was on VHS and we had to keep rewinding the tape because we would be laughing so hard at a scene that we would miss the next hilarious scene!! 🤣

Tommy Boy, with the late great Chris Farley as Tommy and David Spade is one of the funniest, most underrated comedies OF ALL TIME!

Rat Race, Grandma's Boy, Accepted, Idiocracy and Undercover Brother are some of my fave comedies! They also missed Ladies Man, Dragnet, Mystery Men, UHF, Real Genius, Dodgeball and Men At Work, which are also funny and underrated.

The Burbs should be NUMBER 1 on this list! But honestly, IDK how tf any of these movies arent already comedy classics. I love all of these.

Kung fu hustle never never gets enough credit. Euro trip is hilarious and unbelievably quotable. Also new guy and sex drive were two that are at least underrated to me
