One of my favorite Brawl features was the inclusion of some melee stages.

I was shocked that fountain of dreams wasn't on this list. R.I.P

I really miss this game great memories :')

Peach's Castle is my favorite. It's pretty well fit for competitions.

I'm surprised Brinstar Depths didn't make the list. Temple has always been my favorite.

Well, my favorite stage is Final Destination. In all games, that stage felt like you traveled far and wide throughout the realms of earth and smash bros. not only it was good, it was hard to unlock. I literally spent two years trying to even get to event 51! Then another week trying to beat it. Once I unlocked it I felt like I actually beat the game. I hope DLC let you pick a skin for final destination.

I like princess peach's castle, It seem so simple but way to fun! My favorite stage is kongo jungle, the little rock on the right is great for a rest or to save you life. The cannon can screw you over, way too funny. Plus the music is a remake of the DK rap.

Final Destination is my all time favorite stage from all SMB games. Not only because of the design, but how you feel on a simple flat stage where you think that this would be your last battle. I enjoyed your top 10 for what you like & dislike from the stages!

on temple if you unlocked marth or roy there is a change if you play on the stage you get the fire emblem theme playing (the music playing while playing to unlock roy or marth)i love that music

overall, i agree, but I definitely think brinstar depths, fountain of dreams, and the ice climbers mountain stage shouldve been on this list, They are all very unique: The way the stage tilts from left to right with the badass monster in the back of brinstar depths, the dazzling color scheme and charming music of fountain of dreams, and the slippery, also shifting mountain that forces you to dodge many obstacles, and struggle not to fall out of bounds

I love that you can slide on the UFO in Fourside. Whenever I play Melee with my friends, and the UFO appears, I tell them to not attack me as I go freestyle UFO wavedashing (taunts included)! lol

My Top 5 Favorite Melee Stages: 1: Big Blue 2: Temple 3: Brinstar Depths 4: Mute City 5: Fourside

Hmm, Brinstar Depths looks challenging but fun with the platform constantly rotating whenever Kraid slashes the stage. Nice list none-the-less

Melee had the most constantly cool and fun stage roster! add Green Greens and Fountain of Dreams to these, and you've got timeless fun maps. I wish so bad that more of these would've returned in HD to SSB Wii U. After seeing the Yoshi's Island one look so good, all I want is more returning retro stages!!

My favorite Melee stage has to be Mushroom Kingdom II. The struggle to get this stage is just infuriating, needing a Birdo Trophy. What stage requires a trophy to unlock!? The stage itself is really fun. I love how you can hitchhike on a Pidgit's carpet or hurt Birdo, which is a great way to let your rage out on the Birdo trophy. I also like how, if you're playing a time match, during the final minute, the music switches to the Dokí Dokí Panic Boss Theme.

I agree for the most part, though I wish Brinstar was on the list. I guess it could be seen as a clone of the first Smash Bros' Brinstar stage, but it was my favorite alongside Fourside and Big Blue.

My favourite Melee stage is Flat Zone..... I mean you fight on the actual Game & Watch console, it's just awesome!!!

The list was good, I can't really say which stage is my most favorite because they were all well designed. My favorites would have to be Great Bay, Fourside, and Icicle Mountian

I think it's so hard to walk on the UFO because it's super glossy so, super slippery :3 and the Pokémon stadium transformations I think is based on the anime, they have lots of transforming fields on there :D my favorite stage was Mushroomy Kingdom, getting items from the ? Blocks felt like winning prizes at the carnival to me xD
