GOAT show. Steve Carrell as Michael Scott is one of the best acting jobs and leads in a series ever. The whole cast just fit so damn well.

As a big fan of The Office, Parks and Rec is definitely my favorite show in this style. First season is short and effectively a long pilot, but season 2-6 is just incredible. April Ludgate is my favorite character in all of Tv

Parks n Rec is really so damn good. I will say 1st season isn't nearly as good as the Office (Directors were still trying to find their stride with the show), but once Ben and Chris are permanent, the show goes from good to easily the best comedy show I've ever seen.

I think if this show were titled "Dunder Mifflin" the UK would be more receptive of it rather than feeling the need to compare the 2 very different shows.

The US Office had a lot of guest stars for extended arcs - James Spader, Will Ferrell, Kathy Bates, Idris Elba, etc. Stayed strong until Steve Carrell left, then it was good but uneven.

I love both versions of the office. The US version is very different than the UK once it really takes off in the third season. Both are great but I am partial to the American version ❤

Gay Witch Hunt and Basketball are legendary pieces of American sitcoms. I laughed SO hard when they came out originally, and I go back and watch them all the time. Just so damn funny

You might be surprised by how many UK stars pop up on the show, some for extended runs! I skipped the 1st season because it felt too much like the British version, but when it starts spending more time on more than the 4 main characters, it really shines!

I think diversity day was the first fully American written episode. That’s why Krazinski liked it the best as it was the first one the American team had total creative freedom on. Though it may have taken a little longer to fully get into the groove I guess and learn the characters.

I’m actually a fan of both the UK and US Office I sort of view them as two distinct shows… The UK office is just a different viewing experience and obviously you can watch the whole series very quickly

You guys didn’t notice Patrice O’Neal in #5, though his part was very short lived. And the office worker Creed Bratton is actually played by Creed Bratton of the band the Grass Roots.

I love the UK office!! And I also love the US version!! I was sad when Michael left but I still watched to the end! Bummed Netflix took it off…I like to binge watch them! I have a “that’s what she said!” t-shirt!! Another great show was Arrested Development & Trailer Park Boys!! As with all shows…first couple seasons are the BEST, starts to taper off but I still love them!!

As usual, I say stop watching Mojo. There were plenty of better episodes that should've substituted half these picks. I was one of those ppl during the pandemic that watched the series on repeat about 7 or 8 times. When Michael left, Dwight carried it as far as he could but it crapped out the last few seasons. Still one of my favorite shows tho.

My go to episode is when he grilled his foot. If you want to get someone hooked on the office show them that episode because there's alot of great episodes but some need more context.

I watched the Office 3 times on Netflix, but then I think they removed it along with Friends, and Parks and Rec, and Scrubs. Probably for my own health lol. Those 4 shows are incredible, I watched them all multiple times. Similar types of comedy.

Definitely gets better in season two. The creators decided to make Michael more likeable after the first season. It is a great show for about five seasons. After that it starts to go down hill a bit.

The whole show is definitely worth watching. It loses a lot of steam after Michael (Steve Carrell) leaves, but in my pretty unpopular opinion, they find their footing again and build out new characters. They even bring in James Spader to play a new executive and I absolutely love the weirdness he brings.

I hated the The Office US because it just copied the UK version but badly. But it does come into its own, I love it now. I find WatchMojo so annoying though. Explaining the videos we are watching? Why?

Stick with it through season 1. Season 1 is by far the worst season of the entire series. But it just keeps getting better from there. After Michael leaves it levels off, but still enjoyable. Also, if you ignore how much the show makes you like Jim, and step back and examine his actions throughout, Jim is easily the most beloved terrible human being in modern sitcom history.

I'm sorry, but I could never get into the U.S. Office. I watched the O.G... UK one and I was hooked. Then I saw they were making a U.S. version. I actually was like why? Its the same with Coupling and the Inbetweeners. Just leave good enough alone!! The only thing I will say is that Ricky Gervais was smart enough to adapt the show to U.S. audiences. Alot of ported over shows don't. They just try to use the same jokes and what nots.

@@k3n12ock Its funny how it is that way. But again the genius of Ricky Gervais is that he knew the U.S. audience humor is different then the U.K. So he adapted. He let the show be written with that in mind. Take some of the same gags and jokes from the original, but make it more identifiable for U.S. tastes.
