That WE Ziffius is fricken sweet. That flame Titanium and black just works. Quite possibly the best looking knife I have seen, at least in the top two. I have a Case pocket knife with that blade and I love using it, especially detail work.

Sokoke is absolutely amazing knife. Great looks, great ergos (especially after I rounded the outer and inner edges on the micarta), great blade shape and great steel. Btw I counted 13 ways to open it 🙂

My girlfriend bought me a Sokoke about a month ago and I can’t believe how nice of a knife it is for the price point. Civivi really hit a home run with it. I can’t stop carrying it. My other knives are getting lonely. 😂

I have a few suggestions for a top 5 best higher end. The Luft Concepts AVNT, the titanium version, and th3 Eric Ochs Londra EDX. The AVNT titanium is the best pocket knife I've ever purchased!

You don’t have to spend $3-$400 to get a good knife . Speaking from experience , there’s a lot of $50-100 good ones imo and after sharpening 50 or so knives I don’t get all caught up on the kind of blade steel as much as how serviceable the steel is .glad you like your new knaf brother !

I’ve been Jonesing for a damascus blade. Do you think the Sokoke damascus 9cr18-10cr15 has noticeable dropoffs from the standard 14c28n? 🤔

Generally damascus steel will always be a slight step down except for damacore or similar proprietary damascus steels. So if you buy from a reputable brand, go for it

@@Goblue734 Detent is fairly light, but if you consider the size and weight of the blade on a crossbar, it's not a huge surprise and for practical purposes, it's reasonably safe. Amazing that it's still difficult to find. The Stitch too.

Wow.. no Maverick. That says a lot. I had such high hopes for that knife. Aesthetically it was almost perfect for my tastes, just missing a full flat grind. Hopefully they do a v2 on bearings and with better tolerances.

there is a new contender: the Sitivien ST152 in K110 and Micarta for 27 USD. seems Sitivien got an improved QC so that the results are even better than before.

IF We Knives made a new Subjugator with an inset clip and a Hollow ground blade like the Kitefin, and some simple milling lines on the scales (and try and keep it as close to $250 as possible they would have a new evergreen model. The Subjugator is such a good knife, sure they took a shortcut with the pocket clip on top of the scale. BUT the Beacon and the Subjugator were the last $200 (or below) Titanium frame locks WE made. And some of the places I see the Subjugator now it has almost increased with $50 since it was released a little over a year ago. It's just such a well built knife, you can get it to be drop shot action or Tight almost washer like and still be ROCK solid and centered.

I think WE only recesses the clips that are not reversible. Probably to avoid an ugly, blank recessed spot on the show side. Just an observation.

Awesome that your list had knives in pretty much every price bracket. The inexpensive (hate using the term budget because that usually denotes junk) ones are the ones that really caught my eye though so much goodness to have in the inexpensive knife world these days. Have really been looking at Kizer more for knives that punch above thier weight class, and Ganzo has always been my recommended knives for ultra low cost that'll hold up over time. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

From 2019 cary Benchmade Osborne 940 and too mee is best knife I ever have. ( both Microtech Ultratech, Kizer, Benchmade+++, and there is no beter knife for me).
