Hey, Steven. I think the number 5 of your worst low battery alerts, which is the Samsung SGH-E215 is ok to me, cuz it sounds like a bell. I think the number 1 is the worst one, Verykool, P1000 cuz battery empty alert is with continuous beep and I would slam them to ground if I hear them.

Also, Alcatel battery empty sound scares me everytime I hear and see it. Nokia battery low and battery empty messages on older phones were also scary for me, when I was a kid, I freaked out almost all the time I see the text appearing on the screen.

verykool is not alone, that repetitive alert is included to other chinese barphones that uses the same operating system as verykool one (Budget phone, P1000, SKK Mobile C11, etc.)

0:14 Several old Samsung phones have also done this. For instance, my Galaxy Fit. 1:28 The only excuse I can give this is that it died on startup, just as the menu was loading. Similar things have happened with my old Surface RT where it would show the boot screen before cutting to the dead battery screen. 1:44 My best guess is that there IS a message (eg. “Recharge battery”) but the text is white and blends in the background, therefore you can’t see it. 2:14 Reminds me of this one LG phone that kept going “beep beep beep beep beep” like that until it shut down. I might link it, but maybe not.
