It is one of the most annoying things about videos like this, or reviews of comic book films etc, that they have to start with these disclaimers that personal opinions are not indisputable facts. Not that I blame the video makers, it's the fault of the ridiculous bed-wetters that can't handle the fact they are not the centre of the universe

I tend to judge movies on the trailers and I have a pretty good idea what movies won't be good or ones I think I won't like so I do myself a favor and skip ones that look horrible.

AnnMarie L I only watch trailers if I'm in the theater. Watching a movie without seeing the trailer is a better movie experience. Well that's when the movie is good

the worst part about all this 50 shades trash talk is that Jamie Dornan who plays Cristian Gray is most definitely one of the best new upcoming talents in the UK and a very useful addition to hollywood. He starred in this UK TV series called "The fall" as thr main protagonist alongside Gillian Anderson and it gas got to be one of the best TV shows of all time. Jamie and Jillians acting killed it. It was extremely successful in the UK they even won a couple of Awards for the incredible performance. Trsut me he's as good as Michael fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch or any actor in that calibre. The choice he made to launch himself with such a poor movie likr 50 shades proly will kill his career even before it starts. such a shame

The Snowman is what happens when you adapt the SEVENTH Harry Hole novel into the first movie. Sure, It has the most interesting idea from the lot, but it works with already established characters that the film-goer won't recognize.

It was never really good to begin with, if you really think about it. All of the conflicts could have been easily resolved, and much of the humor was very forced. I guess a lot of people mostly enjoyed it for the song covers.

Was that an actual quote from Transoformers this year?! Amazing how each of these movies contradict each other. Remember in the opening of the first film, when Earth was literally an "unknown" planet to the Transformers, yet each and every movie has this huge historical link to it? I'm glad I don't watch them any more.

WHAT. The emoji movie was an unbeatable and magnificent film that is astonishingly under appreciated. Through out the entirety of this cinematic marvel you can see the CLEAR devotion and UNIQUE plot that is handled with the writers ever so beautifully. This plot *spoilers* can be summarized like this... guy is unhappy about what he is supposed to be, guy meets hot girl, oh hey we’re sponsored by candy crush, bleep blop bloop the end. 👏👏 the craftsmanship is worthy of a nobel peace prize! In addition with this godly creation the writing can’t be beat! Steven Spielberg can’t comprehend writing as spectacular as the emoji movies! The protagonists parents have this, rustic meh voice through out the entirety of the film, which NEVER gets annoying. In the end, if I had children, then by god I would sacrifice them so I can see this creation of god one more time.

Carissa I'd watch that over Star Wars The Last Jedi anytime. I mean 50 Shades is meant to be cheesy. It's shirtless dude and fantasy girl whatever. It's poorly done but who expected anything else? Whereas Star Wars used a beloved franchise to push a political bias. It disregards fans who paid good money for it. And really it comes down to Kathleen Kennedy living out her fantasies with disregard for anyone else on earth. Notice she is a tall-ish caucasian brunette with similar build as Ray. She's a modern day Emperor Nero.

Every year I check the comment section, and every year it's the same: "Why isn't [somewhat disappointing blockbuster] on this list?? It's garbage!!!" I will say this once, and I will say this once only: I do not care how personally bothered you were by Ghostbusters/Suicide Squad/Last Jedi, none of them are worse than anything with "Fifty Shades" in the title. Disappointing =/= bad.

Again, those movies are only bad because you expected of them. In the grand scheme, they range from sub-par to fine (although I'd argue that the last two are fucking phenomenal). All of these movies have little to no redeeming qualities. Movies like the Emoji Movie or Jem and the Holograms are bad not because they shat on your childhood or ruined your favorite character, but because they are boring, unwatchable, cliched dumpster fires. In a vacuum, movies like that are still terrible, while stuff like Ghostbusters would just be unremarkable. See what I'm saying?

Big call. Alien:Covenant was almost the ripoff insult to the intelligence I thought it was going to be, and the remake of Ghost In The Shell is such a soul sucking piece of shit I violently refuse to watch it. My controversial pick would be Baby Driver as it reminded me of Deadpool another popular movie I loath. But I concur with you "Fifty Shades..." and "Darker Shades..." are two films I never want to watch in my life.

Fifty Shades Darker really wasn't that bad. The acting was okay. The cinematography was decent. Seriously, it was at least watchable. I would rather re-watch it than the Ghostbusters remake / reboot / whatever, honestly. Fifty Shades Darker should have gone direct to DVD in my opinion, considering how the original film won Worst Picture at the Razzies.

IDK; at least the Emoji Movie had the (bad) excuse of being all-ages and had a decent animating studio putting in work for it. Fifty Shades Darker was just porn trying to be a serious film.
