Komiya haters are WEAK! literally half of these cards are his illustrations... and I love them so much. The voltorb and Chansey are legit 2 of my fave artworks in the whole tcg.

I liked the chansey artwork but I also love the look of watercolor it's so calming to me and since chansey was a nurse joy compainon i'd hope it whould caring and calming.

As someone who pulled a reverse Weezing from expedition in their first pack, I feel a little attacked lol. It is odd looks like a mountain but it’s an interesting artwork. You seem to have a disdain for Komiya artwork in general lol. But I feel it primitivism isn’t for everyone

midare39 I think the art is kinda cool. Definitely different, but that’s the point of them. It’s also pretty expensive.

I mean half of them are you disliking the style which is okay. Some of them are very dislikeable (Misdreavous, Typhlosion) but a lot of the other unique styles are quite interesting and enjoyable. Light Arcanine is dope, Onix is cool, I like Chansey, Mewtwo is a bit odd but it looks like his in game sprite so makes sense. Voltorb I really like. Something about crudely simple illustrations is pleasing to my eyes
