My friend went on the show in 2015 . Lots of back stabbing , bulling and all round bad arrogant people , very nasty , not the judges or staff but the contestants . A sensitive girl with real talent , she never had a chance :(

The biggest scandal is how Cowell turned the pop music industry into a cheesy game show.

You forgot when Gary Barlow walked off because there was a fix between the producers and Louis Walsh in the sing-off between Carolynne Poole and Rylan Clark in 2012, and how Sharon Osbourne walked off the first live show in 2007 after her two acts were at the bottom two.

I am so glad that in recent years many of the former contestants have spoken out and exposed the show and all the shady and just awful goings on in the show. These programmes give the hard sell that you will get gain fame and fortune and become a star but in reality you will just gain trauma end up in therapy.

So many ex contestants have taken to youtube to expose the stuff that went on behind the scenes. Such as the lady that performed a Pink song in her audition.

I mentioned this before on a previous video but don’t forget Zoe Alexander, the Pink “tribute act” who was on the X-Factor ten years ago. It was the producers who told her to sing a Pink song. She meant the producers. Zoe actually was trying to be herself but the producers tricked her. She only did what the producers asked her to do. Don’t you see? They set her up to be one of those crazy contestants. They even sabotaged her audition by turning her monitor off when she sang and played her second song in the wrong key. And they heavily edited her audition video to an extent to make it look like she was throwing a tantrum when in actual fact she was having a mental breakdown from realising she was being set up all along. Why do you think her dad looked angry at the judges and not Zoe? Leading up to her audition on the day, they made her arrive at 6am (which is way too early) at the audition venue and made her wait long hours, deprived her of food and water and tormented her with Pink questions behind the scenes. They did all this just to rile her up so they could get the reaction they wanted out of her on camera. They did this just to get ratings and to profit off it. This actually ruined her life, causing her to attempt suicide. People who knew Zoe for years saw her audition on TV and were avoiding her and heckling her because they thought she was some sort of brat. X-Factor tried to portray her as the villain (but we now know who the real villains are). Zoe explains all this in her truth video she posted on KZfaq two years ago. It’s disgusting what they did to her. 😠 Edit: Thank god that awful show is cancelled. It was all a fix anyway. SYCO is made up of SYCO-paths. They need to be held accountable for all the lives they ruined. As I said before, if they can cancel Jeremy Kyle then they can cancel Simon Cowell too. 👊

I prefer the X Factor when it was the small studio and not the live auditions

Good list but you forgot some earlier ones- Sharon berating Steve Brookstein live on air after his final performance, calling him a fake. Also series 2 when Simon voted his own act off (the Conway sisters) still the only time that has ever happened as far as I know.

I feel bad for Jedward, I mean they were very clearly exploited on the show and probably got zero support from anyone behind the scenes, shameful really, I know they were not the best singers but they were sweet boys, young and naive

The phone lines being engaged happened all the time it happened the year Alexandra Burke won when I tried to vote for Austin Drage the phone line was crackling and wouldn't dial out the phone line was also dead the night I tried to vote for Ray Quinn to win season 3 but after the Austin situation I never voted again and then when Gary Barlow sent next of kin home just for singing his song (but Gary Barlow has always been a awful judge anyway) I lost all faith in the show out of all the 15 years it ran for there's been only three winners I've liked and that was little mix James author and Joe McClelldry
