Thanks for making this list - I'm always looking for new co-op games! I didn't see it on here, but Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was pretty excellent. Fairly short, but it was a wonderful game for two. Also, I'm not sure if this would count in this list as it requires a mod to be "couch co-op" but my partner and I probably have 600+ hours into Don't Starve Together. You can set up a LAN server for two PCs, or there is a mod that opens up split-screen.

@@nectarkenni The game literally isn't co op lol. The whole gimmick is that you control both characters using one controller. It's single player, and there is no multiplayer mode.

Cool Video with some good recommendations. Do you know if it is possible to play "Horde"-Mode in Gears 5 Splitscreen? It's very unfortunate that PC seems to be punished when it comes to available local games. For example Borderlands 3 has a splitscreen mode on console but not on PC. I do not understand why they cut that out.

Too late but no, horde mode in gears 5 is 1 player only on PC and in Xbox it requires an Xbox live subscription to play anything other than campaign mode.

Unpopular for a reason. More often than not, indie developed games are fun. Since more indie developers are active now it's keeping fun genres around that would otherwise be non-existent. Ever played Worms: Armageddon? Games like that are more frequent now and that's koOl.

I’d highly recommend Call of Duty Black Ops 3. 1) Zombies supports splitscreen. 2) free custom zombies maps from the steam workshop = a lot of fun 3) Zombies Chronicals is dlc where you get a tonne of classic maps from the entire zombies series. (Kino, natch, moon) 4) multiplayer 1v1’s (you can also download fan made multiplayer maps like the classic rust) which makes for a good time. 1v1 quickscope battles don’t get old

Gursimran Singh well I purchased a Bluetooth receiver for $9 and use two ps4 controllers wirelessly, but I’m sure if you plug in both USB controllers and then in the menu hover over ‘activate split screen’ it should work

bro Im trying to find a ame since 4 years . I was so young I dont remember the name or the year I played it , but It was a car racing splitscreen and had nitro also , 1 car for 1 player not for more than 1 , also there were 2 modes ;racing and ;arcade . in racing mode there was a pit stop where we just cross to fill the nitro we did not have to stop. also it was for 4 players split screen. can you help???????????????????? please there was no power pickups and no powers except nitro that filled by the time itself and we could only regen it by going to the pit.

Help! I'm looking for a game I played when I was in elementary. The game was like this: 1. It kinda looked like Van Helsing. 2. FPS Game 3. Played on PS2/Xbox 4. Can be played by 4 players (splitscreen mode) 5. And the GUNS, as far as I remember, it has a hook on the stock /handle of the gun used to smash/shove enemies. 6. Some guns can be equipped with SILVER BULLETS. 7. Between 2001-2010 Help me find this game guys! Comment below the name of the game. Thanks!
