I helped playtest the Outer Rim expansion. We asked why the expansion didn’t include stuff from the Mandalorian. They said that the reason why is because the game elements represent the timeframe between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Whether that would change in the future was, at least at that time, not the plan.

I am from the UK, and probably my two most watched categories of videos on youtube over my lifetime are Dice Tower top 10s and Would I Lie To You clips. Love that Tom has been watching the latter! Worlds colliding

As a resident of Rochester, NY, Millennium Games is an incredible game store-But I would not be impressed if I drove 1,500 miles to see it. Would love to see the gang if you do come though!

Great show guys! Always a pleasure to watch. And some friendly feedback: when a game is being explained, it would be much appreciated not to switch to the game cover too quickly. I find it easier to understand the explanation with the picture of the game on screen.

Nothing Personal is an amazing game Tom! We have been playing it for years, now have upgraded to the revised edition and have a blast still. We will be playing it for my 30th birthday in a couple of weeks!

1:23:41 Many if not most (young) people in the nordic countries are straight up fluent in English actually! We have a lot of media in English, often untranslated (or with movies/TV, they might have subtitles, but definitely won't be dubbed unless it's aimed at kids) - and of course we spend a lot of time on the English-speaking part of the internet. What's still very common is having a pretty severe accent, since you're constantly reading, writing, hearing English but not necessarily speaking it...

Domaine is one of those games I wished I had picked up. I saw a copy in my local store about 5 years ago and got it mixed up with dominion as i rush out the door and when I realized my mistake and went back a few days later it was gone.

I had Domaine in the collection for years. I love it. However, I couldn’t table it often since it was too mean for most of the other players in our game group. So, I culled it a couple of years ago.

On the #66 intro with Chris Zephro (38:37), Tom remarks "Did you notice all the Arkham Horror stuff behind him?" There is actually no Arkham Horror in that clip, it's all Star Wars Legion and Imperial Assault packs.

Someone said it in chat but that was the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Disneyland's was the first, so it's the smallest. It's small and wide, the rest are all skinnier and taller.

Mike's reaction shows how criminally underrated Rajas of the Ganges is. Not as good as Snap Sticks or whatever it was called, apparently. Rajas is a straight up 10/10 game. Should be BGG top 100. Easily.

I disagree that people are hating on Flamecraft because of other people liking it. It's a pretty light game that is fine. I really enjoyed my first few plays but after a few plays it just gets pretty boring.

Agree that art is subjective, but it’s ok to say you don’t like the art, and when more people don’t like it than do, you could argue it’s objectively not good.

Flamecraft is a great game. It's a great introduction to combos in games.

You're so wrong about It's a wonderful world. :-) As If Ancient Knowledge just replaces It ... check the reviews on BGG how people generally think about It. Add in the arch of ratings over the next 4 years and AK drops to something like a 6. I'd even prefer IAWW over 7 wonders 99 out of 100 times. It's fine you guys don't like It of course ... just, don't discard It so easily If It's on the people's list 🙂

For Mansion Of Madness: I actually prefer the first edition. Yes it takes longer to set up, but a skilled Keeper can control the game far better than the app can every time.

It is reductive to say if you don’t like Flamecraft it is because it is popular. I culled my copy after a few games. It is fine. But it is overproduced, fiddly, prone to AP, and overstays its welxome for a light game. I’d give it a 6.8. I didn’t cull it because it is popular. That is silly. I culled it because I have far better games for the same weight and player count. YMMV

Flamecraft stinks. Boring game (backed it on kickstarter). 90% is just collecting resources until you can grab a scoring card with all the resources you collected. It’s a lamer lords of waterdeep with cute dragons
