I don't think this list captures the essence of 'Rock Star' vs merely a great rock musician. Mick Jagger, Axl Rose, Ozzy, Freddie Mercury... those are rock stars. Billy Joel for example is a great rock musician.

Love the fact that all 4 Beatles found their way onto this list, although Ringo should have been higher (higher than George, although George was my favorite), and Geddy and Neil made it from Rush, whereas Alex Lifeson did not...and I think it's because he is so thoroughly humble and unassuming that you wouldn't know he's a rock star--even when he's on stage!!! I'm also amazed that many people made this list that I've honestly never heard of...
