Loved PSM on Dynasty, quite a departure from her Nancy Drew character. For me, my favorite Fallon moment is the iconic turn around move she does during the show’s opening theme music. I don’t know why, but I love that.

At least as True Fallon, Pamela Sue Martin was only around for the best years of Dynasty. "Millions dollar spit in the ocean" always stuck in my head. PSM really nailed the role of rich mans spoilt brat of a daughter. I liked that she always gave Alexis what-for. Jeff's run/stop at 1:19 is *SO* Jeff 🪵

I loved Pam too! She was so iconic! But what hair loss? That’s news to me. Except that her hair was cut into more choppier and hacked up looking, in comparison to say the pilot. It was so pretty in the first season. Afterwards it got shorter and shorter and more and more “choppy” Did she have cancer? God I hope not.....😢 I suffer from alopecia. I got very very VERY ill when I was in my early ‘20’s and still to this day, have big bald spots,, that I have to have pieces glued in and more pieces on top of that,,,,it’s a huge chore just to do my hair. I know in this day and age, I could just shave my head and go bald,,,,it looks good on some men, but not all, and I would be in the ‘not all’ category.....

Now, some of the missed moments not showed that I thought showed Pamela Sue Martin as being the Fallon we all loved was the moment she thought Cecil Colby might be her father and Blake took the paternity test and told her that he really was her father (which at that time when Fallon thought she wasn't a Carrington, she was emotionally struggling with who she really was). Another great Fallon moment was when she had the party for the reopening of La Mirage and she was dressed up in that gorgeous red flappers costume being the life of the party drinking champagne and doing the Charleston on the diving board. Now, another defining Fallon moment was when Krystle was crying after trying to talk to Blake after they thought Steven was dead and Blake was out at an old oil rig telling Steven he was sorry. Fallon came walking in finding Krystle crying and finally realizing that Krystle wasn't the gold digger she thought she was and truly loved Blake, Krystle ripped into her saying she wasn't believing Fallon's concerns for her because she had been fake to her before and couldn't trust her then walked out, then Krystle turned around to apologize then they both and embraced with Fallon comforting Krystle saying everything was going to be alright... that's when we all saw Fallon's defenses come down and she started loving and respecting Krystle

Fantastic video!🤩There were so many characters on the show that I really enjoyed and connected with including Steven, Claudia, and Fallon probably being at the top of the list, and having watched the show from the very beginning, for me, Pamela Sue Martin will always be who I think of as Fallon. I absolutely hate character replacements, especially when they are one of my favorites, and it was the same with Steven, I absolutely loved Al Corley in the role, but I did really come to appreciate Jack Coleman, given the story line, and the dynamics of the character of Steven, I think he was well suited for it.

Fallon is my favorite Dynasty character! My unpopular opinion is that she could've made a better villain than Alexis. Don't get me wrong, Alexis is iconic and she definitely brought so much to Dynasty, but I feel in a way Fallon had the potential to be a lot more ruthless and they never let her expand into being a powerful villain or businesswoman. In a way, she would fit the mold of the female J.R., obsessed with approval and validation from her father, yet unlike with J.R., she was very unlikely to become the heir (heiress for her) of Denver-Carrington. The role would've gone to Steven, who I feel also missed a lot of potential like Fallon. The OG Fallon and Steven, portrayed by Pamela Sue Martin and Al Corley, just had so much missed potential and the conflict of the main dynamic (Blake-Krystle-Alexis) would've brought so much deeper character development to them, but I feel character development was cast aside a lot in Dynasty in favor of campiness. You can have both camp and character development for sure! With Fallon since this video was about her, what would have been interesting is that she didn't know if Blake was actually her father or not during Little Blake's birth, so after she gave birth, she initially rejects the child but once she sees him, she instantly has so much love for him and decides that she wants to build a life from the bottom-up for her son. As she would begin to use the knowledge she learned for her own life, Blake would begin to regret not giving Fallon inheritance of the company. Just my thoughts and of course everyone has their own, sorry for the long paragraph. 😂 I feel passionately about Fallon's character (I also do about Steven and Claudia's as well). This was a great video I loved seeing Fallon's best moments, both compassionate and ruthless ones! :)

Pamela Sue Martin's Fallon was sheer perfection (although Elizabeth Gillies' modern Fallon had a much sharper tongue and more power), it's a shame that, with Fallon's intelligence they should have had her as a top executive at Denver Carrington instead of running a hotel (women were heading major companies back in the 80s, why couldn't have Fallon? Just a sad reminder that the early 80s television wasn't full of strong powerful female leads). The only problem with PSM's Fallon was right before she left the show, the writers started making Fallon's character rather weak, she had lost allot of the fire and spark that made Fallon a character everybody loved watching. And when they brought in Emma Samms as Fallon, she was good and had her moments but she wasn't PSM

Emma royally sucked compared to Pamala Sue Martin, and I had such a crush on PSM and would up dating a girl who looked like her, with those same huge blue cat eyes, and who was a passionate fire sign much like her! And I loved every minute of it, though we were both SO young! We loved watching Dynasty together! Emma ruined Dynasty for me, or should I say PSM leaving ruined it for me, but ohhhh those sweet years!

Having watched the remake and the original, I must say that the drama was definitely present in the original. The 2017 version was played softer, more for light drama than for seriousness. You could take these characters seriously as cutthroat wealthy individuals versus the later year version. Luckily Elizabeth Gillies was in that version.

It might sink in if it were accurate: He once said (and not in those words) that the show started declining in Season 5, but he did not blame that on Martin's exit. The man has too much class for that. And he adored both Martin and Samms. *Btw, why aim that comment directly at Samms? I mean, PSM's exit had nothing to do with her. She didn't force Martin to give her the role.
@Dennisanyone-
@Dennisanyone- 8 ай бұрын
@@romanseano Forsythe was closer to Martin than Samms. Pamela considered him a father figure whereas with Emma he was just another co worker. He’s absolutely right that it did start declining in quality in season 5. It wasn’t only PSM absence, but that played a part in it. PSM was with the show through its glory years and even when the show hit number one, if you figure in her flashbacks and portrait in that season. Her presence lingered on. So her exit was a tipping point. The show suffered because of 1. increasingly horrible writing and stories and 2. even worse casting decisions not only recasts but characters no one cared about. I was teen through its heyday. Samms was critically panned throughout her run. They wanted to get PSM back on a number of occasions. I will give her credit for improving the last season (along with the writing), but not enough for me to forget PSM in the role.
