I know Shump Junkie will go crazy once he finds out about the Truxton remake! Also, Steel Empire remake has been out for a while now, released on Steam a few years ago. Is this an enhanced remaster?

I am dubious about modern Konami although I’m glad they are going back to their roots. Axelay 2 should most definitely be made.

Tyrian is still my favorite shmup, nothing matched the weapon variety from that game, as far as i know.

Asura The Striker has completely taken my attention. Looks truly unique. Or I'd say it's a Dragon Ball character that shoots invaders (I don't know why I made this comparison, but she looks like DBZ character, no kidding).

Looks like side scrolling games copy Abuse while upward shooters are a derivate from Astro avenger...surely they made it smoother with graphics&sound but gameplay is the same... i miss LucasArts adventures,when reward was a cutscene

The valfaris art style would have been a much better fit. Though im not crazy about it either.

I don't think that's smart to call their game Valfaris 2. They should just give it a new name. No ones going to like it being called that. Those who didn't play the first one wont care and those of us who did, think it lame to call that 2 lol. It's a whole new game. Foolish. Valfaris was way too hard too, I couldn't finish and beat the boss due to how the system upgrades work and it wasn't worth replaying, due to it's difficultly. Unlike Slain which can be beaten, Valfaris left me unfulfilled. Making a completely different style game and calling it the same thing is ignorant. Make up a new name for a shoot 'em up, come on.
