Thank you so much! This was really fun to watch during my New Year breakfast :D Somehow you managed to include most that also would make my top 10. Have never played Street Masters, Batman or Memoir44 and instead I would choose Cthulhu Death May Die (best at 5 players ^^), Gloomhaven (played well above 150 szenarios at 3 among it and its successors) and campaign mode Massive Darkness 2 (it does need slight houserules to really shine but then it is amazing and very accessible). Honorable mention Kingdom Death which I love for every aspect and consider a piece of art rather than just a game ^^ Solomon Kane is amazing :D Happy to see your minis painted. I will surely check out the imperial Assault solo mode. It is sadly never suggested any more and I do miss it ^^ Mythic battles is downstairs as it arrived a Day before Christmas and I have not had the time to even unpack ^^ Marvel Zombicide sits right beside it ...^^ If I have the money to spare I might get tempted by the upcoming Conan campaign. Terraforming Mars is a consistent to-go-to game for us and I enjoy it at any player counts above 2. For solo I prefer the app but against an AI rather than the implemented solo mode. So sad what is happening with Mythic Games because their games are amazing. I am still waiting for my language version of Darkest Dungeon which is hopefully in production now. Glad that Solomon Kane got bought by Monolith and hope it will see a reprint or even better expansions ^^ Have a great Happy New (Gaming) Year!

Yeah I transport my games to different groups a lot, so boxes aren’t the best condition. Probably making some of you cringe.😂

Yes, this is on the list to play. I think it would be right up my street. I managed to play a demo at uk games expo and really liked the combat system.

I know what you mean about too many games, am in the process of culling my collection to focus on just keeping what I play (which includes Blood Rage, Marvel United, Mythic Battles and Nemesis, like your picks!). Also enjoy Gloomhaven but more so in its smaller form (JoTL). Along with this I also solo Space Hulk and Blood Bowl 7’s a lot (as love creating and painting up teams!). Frostpunk I also really enjoy, a great thematic survival city builder 👍 but not sure you would have the time to learn that judging by all the other games you have to play! 😂

I’ve only played a bit of SK but love it to bits and need to keep painting it up. I have most of JoA but from the first 2 scenarios we struggled with the clumping of units (Death Star issue?) - I’m very interested to know what you think of that issue? For us it seemed such a downer. Another favourite of mine is Shadows of Brimstone, of which I have loads! And I enjoyed the intro scenarios of Nova Aetas as well! Truly a golden age for story/adventure/delving games? Thanks for the list - very interesting!

I’ve heard good things about shadows of brimstone, but I have not played so many great games. Deffo a great time to be into this hobby.

I love a long epic story game, however my wife has a 90 minute limit of gaming, thank the lord for solo mode. Thanks for the list i have added soloman kane for me and call to adventure for my wife to my list of games to check out Cheers I own witcher, nova and had skyrim. Currently playing journeys in middle earth.

My wife doesn’t play board games except the party ones when we have friends round. So solo modes are important for me. However, I have 2 weekly board game/tabletop groups and all my friends and brother also play a lot so I am lucky to get most games played regularly. Those two are great picks, I have looked at journeys in middle earth as lord of the rings is one of my favourite IPs. Btw I just got Lord of the rings epic board game. Played it solo and 2-player and it’s really nice. LOTR in a box very similar in epicness as Star wars Rebellion!

I honestly wish I could get hold of Solomon Kane, hopefully monolith do another kickstarter reprint or something for it, mythic battles definitely is up there for me, same with super fantasy brawl, but brass brum takes my top spot now, its just way to good

Yeah would highly recommend Solomon Kane if you can get hold of it. Brass is a great game and have played a couple of times, but prefer the minis and epic adventure or theme.

@@paintngamecorner5229 I was always attracted to minis games, but with them taking up vast swathes of space compared to non minis games, an half the time costing 3 times the price, they have to be really amazing now to tickle my tastebuds lol

That's a pretty solid line-up of games. I own about half of them, although i have not played some of them enough. Blood Rage is a favourite of my gaming group too. Haven't touched Imperial Assault in ages, i should really go back to it at some point, a shame that it got discontinued in favor of Star Wars Legion. Right now i'm painting my copy of Mythic Battles Ragnarok, Mythic Battles is my favourite skirmish-PvP-boardgame, i play it all the time, and the miniatures are just incredible. Already excited for the egyptian version coming later this year.

Thanks. Legion is cool (I have this too), but it is not the same as Imperial assault at all. Mythic battles I have played quite a bit now considering only had it a few weeks, really solid game and friends really like it too. Narrowing down to 15 games is very hard, just played dune imperium, so good. But there are so many great games!
