The 'Soy Bean' car was actually principally made from hemp cellulose plastic, stronger than steel. The seat fabrics were also of hemp as was the stuffing of hemp fibre. The fuel was refined from hemp seed oil and the tyres were hemp plastic and rubber compounds. Henry Ford owned his own rubber plantations and was a loud voice in the value of hemp products. At one time in the US, hemp was widely used for fabric, lamp fuel, ropes for sailing vessels. Farmers had to allot a certain portion of their land principally for the growing of hemp for ropes for the navies - even a small sailing ship requires tens of metres of ropes of different thickness and strength. A galleon required miles of ropes. Henry Fords 'hemp car' and fuel ideas were shut down by the big steel and big oil merchants who threatened to stop oil supplies to his factories if he continued.

This is an AI channel. It full of misinformation. In one video the it said that fins were banned after 1959! A caddy cimarron has 900 HP! If you watch these videos from the fist one you'll get a good laugh!
