When my Mom had a kidney stone, she came home high af on dimerol. She stood in the halfway at home, rocking back and forth, with her purse hanging on her elbow, holding a coffee and a cinnamon roll...eyes closed, take a bite of cinnamon roll, start chewing, fall asleep, repeat... FOR AN HOUR!!!

It would be really funny to see an anesthesiologist or maybe a surgical nurse coming out of anesthesia

My mom had a hip replacement about 10 years ago. They gave her two strong pain meds. I went up to see her at the hospital. She was supposed to be in bed. I walk in her room and she’s walking around with a glass of water to water her flowers. I had her get back in bed. Went to the nurses station to tell them and she was coming down the hallway. They put her back in bed. They put her in a room across from the nurses station and had a switch on her bed that would buzz if she tried to get out of bed. I stayed with her all day. Her room looked over the helicopter pad for the hospital. She thought she was at home in her basement rec room. She kept telling me she didn’t know how I built that helicopter pad in one day plus changed her basement. My sister is out of state. She called my mom. My mom told her she was going to have my dad make her a martini. My daughter and SIL came up. My mom told my SIL to go out by the nurses station and they would give him a beer out of their fridge. The next day she was back to normal. 😂

Not anesthesia, but mom had hydro-coden for kidney stones. she excitedly told me that she figured out a button in the garage turned on the lights. she was surprised i knew this. we had lived there for 5 years. Don't do drugs
