The Death of Ultimate Spider-Man and the possible vol 5 double dip needs to be addressed. We need answers from marvel before they force another UXM vol 5 situation and get a bunch of fans angry.

Gail Simone's Secret Six is my #1, followed by Gruenwald's Captain America, and... you must not overlook Marvel's The Micronauts!!! Michael Golden artwork---stunning! Pat Broderick also contributes fantastic work!

I have the Thor omnibus for pre-order. I love this run. One of the best Thor runs out there, second to Simonson's run. (Aaron damaged Thor's mythos IMHO). Can't wait for Secret Six Vol. 1 as well---took DC long enough to collect those stories

Fantastic list. Looking forward to almost all of these too including the HMs (not a Hulk or Star Wars fan). Hadn’t heard of Hitman so may have to take a look. Secret Six I’m on the fence about. Loved BOP by Simone but did try a TPB of Secret Six and wasn’t keen but I’m a sucker for an omnibus so I’m bound to pony up. Good to see you back and thanks

Definitely a solid list! I want to get the deluxe editions of power rangers this year, but am in less of a rush because they usually end up on sale. I want to start the USM omni journey, but they are big bois for sure!

my big purchase this year (not omnibus albeit) is the invincible library edition reprints/continuation of the line fingers crossed this time around they keep uniform demensions/spines.

*Nostalgia pass* 👏👏👏 Have to respect it, as surely why many of us got into the hobby? I only started collecting and reading last year but already excited for some of the upcoming re-prints, after spending the back half of '23 focusing on mainly grabbing what was available before it became inflated or hard to get. Having grabbed Hickman's Avengers & FF runs, I only learnt of that *Ultimate Marvels* last week, but that's not one I'm aiming for. Others I'm excited for: *Fantastic Four by Waid & Wieringo* *Punisher Max vol 1* *Spiderman by Micheline Vol 1* *Amazing Spiderman by JMS Vol 2* Found myself more focused by Marvel since getting into the hobby but I'm hopeful we get a reprint of at least *Knightfall Vol 2* this year, as it's a run I've wanted to tackle for a couple of year. Hope 2024 is a good one for you 👌

Ultimates is awesome! 1 and 2 are great, never finished 3, and still need to read the Hickman era ultimate stuff. But you can't go wrong with the mark millar/hitch series

My most anticipated is yep you guest it Ultimate Spider-Man omnibus 4. Forgot to say, would check ur copy of 3 though Maddogg as my glue was separa ting from the ribbon in one corner. Happened to Tom also. On the maybe list is Batman Eternal( Technically re released in 2023), Maybe even Dark JL if I can make the budget work🤔My curated collection of 11 omnis is building nicely.🙂 Will give this a watch later. Woof.😁

I just bought the Epic Collection of Amazing Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt last week on my birthday and I need to get more of the Epic Collections. But the Omnibus on Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man run is a lot of money, so I'll stick to getting every Epic Collection of Amazing Spider-Man. But I haven't forgotten about getting the other six volumes of Ultimate Spider-Man, including the 4 volumes that lead to the Death of Ultimate Spider-Man.

Epic collections are awesome aren't they. I cannot afford many omnis either but had to make a exception for Ultimate Spider-Man. Epics are my main source of collecting Marvel. I recommend getting ghosts of the past too. Such a fantastic era of Spider-Man. And the modern epics will no doubt eventually collect Spencer's run.

My own: 10 ultimate spidey 4 & death of reprint. Put them together as they're part of the same series but will be buying both and excited to complete the lot. 9. Spidey nick spencer vol 2. 8. Spidey Brand new day vol 1. 7. Hulk by byrne & casey. 6. Spidey by Bagley & Michelinie vol 1. 5. Flash by Williamson. 4. Hitman by ennis. 3. Spidey black costume saga 2. Ghostrider Danny Ketch vol 1. Aquaman by Peter David. Bug Spider fan in case it's not clear, I'm also, weirdly excited about finally getring all 4 clone saga books and the Larsen/Michelinie reprint 😂

Wouldn't surprise me if he is of the opinion nothing in the last 2 decades is worth reading either.🤔 Why would people have nostalgia for 80s comics if they were born in say 2000. Unless they read that material in their childhood. Which is not common among readers today whom most prefer modern stuff which is not as densely written.
