I love Tencel. I can’t wear any synthetics, so it’s a great choice for my hyper-sensitive skin. It’s also the best choice in the rayon family, which I can wear. Most fast-fashion viscose/rayon is very thin and low-quality, so it’s limp, wrinkly and puckers. But, high-quality, thicker rayons can be great.

Where have you been all of my life??? Thank you so much for this! I'm 5'2 and finding good quality trousers that don't need altering is a nightmare. I love COS pleated chinos (they're full length on me) and surprisingly, Abercrombie has some decent cotton and linen trousers for petites! I haven't tried them yet, but saw good reviews online. Thank you so much again for this!!!! I'm interested in the other stories, cos, uniqlo and mango options. I was wondering if you iron or steam your trousers? I love my COS chinos but they're a nightmare to maintain as they come out of the wash super creased. They're hang dry only too. So I end up doing a poor job ironing. Steaming doesn't get the creases out well enough. I usually just use the dryer for my other trousers and they come out pretty much crease free. Would love to know what your process is!

I have been seeing a lot of good pieces from Abercrombie. Need to actually check them out for myself! I do normally steam my clothes, I hardly iron... I don't even think I own an ironing board. I haven't had to wash these trousers yet, so I'll see how they do with my steamer! So happy that you liked this video :)

@@AdelineLoke thanks for replying so fast! I've recently (in the last 3 years) adopted a more minimal classic neutral wardrobe. Like you said in your other videos, it's just easier to maintain when everything goes well together, and being more classic and non-trend orientated...makes it less of a hassle and more fun! It's been a sloooow switch though so I'm still curating my wardrobe and being very mindful of what I choose to add to my collection. I've been investing in more high quality pieces and buying much less frequently. So our style philosophies are very in sync! I'm also so so so appreciative that you cater to us petites (I'm 5'2" too!) and there are so many things I passed on due to my smaller frame and proportion issues. Thanks again for your amazing content; you're a star! I toggle between ironing and steaming, but my COS trousers are so finicky it makes me not want to wear them, which is a shame. They're amazing on and I feel like a million bucks when wearing them...but the hassle of steamong/ironing puts me off often. I'll try to find a way to make it work...because they're just SO NICE on. Thank you for sharing your process 🤍 I look forward to more similar videos catered to us "shorties" 😉

Love this video. Finding trousers for petites is a nightmare. Just a question about the COS dark navy pants, wondering if you had the waist width of this? As it seems to maybe come up smaller than the size chart wondering if I should just go 1 size up to be on the safe side. Thank you 😊

What’s your typical inseam w/o shoes? I’m 5’5 w/a 30” inseam, meanwhile my 5’3 friend is also 30” inseam! 😅 I’ve learned height doesn’t necessarily indicate pant fit (length-wise), which is why I ask.

Depends what length I want. For cropped length I go for 26" and then longer for floor length trousers. But you are so right! How tall/short you are doesn't dictate your inseam, it's always good to know your measurements. xx

I’m not a petite but my waist is 28 right now , I gain weight for the least 6 months . So my bust is 34B , hips 38.5 and wearing length 30” not sure what size of trouser should I get if small or medium .

im not petite, only 166cm. yet it's so damn hard to find trousers that are not hanging on my ankle. every pair I wore looked like cropped trousers. this video tells me which brand to avoid and buy. i have tried mango, they are great in terms of length. however, the quality is terrible. the stitching, hanging threads omg a nightmare. i have this one pair which i really like. constantly wearing them but after 1 year it looks awful. other pairs also just don't look great. cos is absolutely great on me!! the length and waist size are always spot on. but i could not purchase it all the time due to the high price. so i have to be very selective on the material and fit. uniqlo is good only if the style is a collaboration with designers. bcos their sizing is a lot more precise and i know which one fits me. if it was just size S, M, L, i had to go for L but the waist would be bigger, if M it is tight on me. what a nuisance. uniqlo would be my last choice

I think a good rule is to go for the best you can afford with whatever budget you have so I wanted to include a range of brands and prices x
