I do feel bad for nightstar, he was placed in a tough spot, Pinestar was, well idk, but he feared his own mortality, soo I kinda understood his actions. That being said, don't disagree with anyone on this list.

I agree with some, nightstar was just old, and he never got the lives. I feel bad for him :(

Honorable mention: Tigerheart(star) in the recent books lol Also to explain why some characters are on here: Redstar helped the clans banish SkyClan. Nightstar was never fit to really be leader. Darkstar of SkyClan embarrassed his deputy at a gathering and made the code insisting clan leader word is law. Darkstar of RiverClan turned Mapelshade away, same with Oakstar. Ripplestar ambushed the clans at a gathering causing StarClan to kill him. Pinestar abandoned his clan to become a kittypet. Leopardstar sided with Tigerstar and caused suffering among her clanmates due to her bad decisions. I feel like the rest can speak for themselves

Oakstar also showed favoritism. He said his son would be leader and treated him better than any cat. And darkstar had no reason to let maple join. She wasn't mates with anyone in her clan anymore. And mapleshade indirectly caused the death of her kits by leading them to the rocks and the river which she knew was flooded. Making her irresponsible. And she was acting out and desperate but darkstar didn't know that. I wouldn't call her a bad leader for not letting one cat in.

Ashfur should also be on this list because even though he wasn't A leader chosen by starclan, he did lead thunderclan... And was a bitch. So yeah.

I respect your opinion 100%, and I know he might not have been the best, however… I don’t care what anyone says. Nightstar is ( *and will always be* ) my baby :D In all seriousness, he cared for as well as led the elders when they were exiled in Yellowfang’s secret, then went on to lie to his clan about his nine lives so they could have a leader and not live in fear (which I believe was stated to be the hardest thing he ever did)

I feel like Rowanstar should have been replaced with a different leader or smth because he wasn't a bad leader in my opinion. He was literally just SICK and his Clan blamed him for everything. Plus, he didn't even UNDERSTAND why Onestar was telling him a billion times to drive out the rogues because he didn't admit his SeCrEt at that time. This is just my opinion lol.

Please don’t kill me, but I honestly don’t think tigerstar was a HORRIBLE leader. I’m sure it says somewhere that Starclan gave him nine lives because he was going to lead shadowclan without doing what brokenstar did for example. He would’ve been a bad leader to thunderclan sure, but he had a burning hatred towards them and if we take that away from it, sc could’ve been a pretty powerful clan

What about Cloudstar? Although it was clear that prey wouldn't return he kept waiting instead of fighting Thunderclan or asking Redstar to give back the land that had been given to Thunderclan by Darkstar(keep in mind, he was advised to do so). When he finally decided to start a battle, Skyclan warriors were already weakened by starvation and endless hunting. It didn't surprise me at all when they lost. Cloudstar definitely wasn't a bad person but he was either naive or weak-willed. The same goes for a Thunderclan leader called Dawnstar(Battles of the Clans). He avoided battles which resulted in starvation and the death of his own deputy.

Honestly, Leopardstar just tried her best. Yeah, she was annoying at times, but she was still overall a good leader who just wanted the best for her clan.

I was like "Mk i can see brokenstar comin` up in first." Then i saw he was second and i was like, "WHAT!?THEN WHOS FIRST!?" then i saw tigerstar was first and my first thought was, "Fair enough." But in my opinion,brokenstar was worse.

Leopardstar chose her crush over fighting for her clan and pinestar going against star clan wishes to kill tigerkit who was a threat as an adult as well as not wanting to die in battle and wanting to live his last life in comfort

So there is nothing wrong with darkstar of riverclan. Yeah she forgave a cheater. That's it. She didn't have to let mapleshade in. So she didn't. She saw it how it was. Mapleshade indirectly caused the death of kits by leading them to the rocks and the river which she knew was flooded. She didn't want and irresponsible cat in her clan. I agree with everyone on this list. Despite the order. Clear sky should have moved up. To two or three. Nightstar and pinestar aren't bad cats. Pinestar was a good leader up until he was on his last life and wanted to leave to not watch his clanmates die in useless battles. And nightstar tried. But his body couldn't keep up with him.

Yes they are the same cat but after he became leader he changed completely. He broke ties with firestar, causing drama between the clans. Onestar cheated on his mate, had kits with a kittypet, which is really weird because Onestar was mates with Whitetail first and he fell in love with her when she was an apprentice. He also abandoned his kit, refused another clan medicine for I believe was a dying kit. He closed his borders and was hostile to any who crossed and refused to help any clan for any reason and just became a jerk because he didn't want to look weak.

Half of these leaders weren’t even that bad. They either went through tough times or witnessed horrible things which kind of traumatised them (Bramblestar). Or they just made a bad mistake because they thought they were doing it for the good of their clan but later regretted it (Leapardstar). Or they did bad things but then changed (Skystar).

leopardstar was foolish but she watched countless cats she loved die, she deserved better. raggedstar was toxic towards his wife because she was fulfilling her duty as a med cat . onestar goes from nice guy to literary one of the biggest A-holes, tallstar told him to be good to firestar made onestar deputy for it, yet he betrays tallstar and his close friend firestar. brokenstar-child abuse master,framed his mom,killed his dad and attacked the cats who were protecting him. tiger star was just horrible

Spoilers He was never nice to yellowfang, and held a grudge on her the entire book for becoming a medicine cat. He spoiled his son, Brokentail/star, too much and even defended him when he broke the code and the truce at a gathering. He also made Brokentail a warrior early, when he didn’t even pass his assessment yet. Brokentail was only an apprentice for 5 moons. Also, Raggedstar made Foxheart his deputy just to make Yellowfang jealous. That’s the only reason. Raggedstar wasn’t wise at all and would regularly lose his temper. Oh, and he broke the code by having kits with yellowfang even though she was a medicine cat now, and he was a respected role, which should do none of the sorts. He never listened to medicine cats advice also. Raggedstar is either blind and can’t see the obvious lies his son pulls, or just thinks he’s right for it.

At this point if you have "Dark" in your name you're either a villain or flat out bad. Pinestar was a p***y. Leopardstar, once again Leopardstar f***ing sucks. Bramblestar was just plain dumb. Onestar: "Ah yes ThunderClan! Go to cat hell." Brokenstar was just cruel, flat out. Tigerstar, what else do I have to say? I agree with this list 💯
