The Carens, with its low-set bonnet and large cabin area, has the basic shape of an MPV, though there's an SUV-ness to the look too that comes courtesy of elements like the cladding at the sides and around the wheel wells. I took Carens Test drive today, they alloted the Luxury Plus model for test drive. Post test drive when i asked what is the price of the car with seat vents, Air purifier and and bose speakers that am driving he said starting 16,Lakhs we get all this but will not get in 14,99,950 also. Then the base which most of the people might have booked will miss on many features and also you will get grey seats like in XL6 Zeta. But from comfort of seat stand point XL6 is great because the shoulder support is great in XL6 for above 5.6 in height but not in Carens. Carens didnt impressed me in terms of comfort.

Good review.. but the real problem with these reviews are they mention the base price of 8.99 lacs, and then showcase the top end variant.. The buyers get a tad disappointed when they actually get to know all those luring features are missing in the base variant..

Just seeing doors you can not judge safety. As of now no car his splitted into two pieces in an accident throwing rear seats chasis part, means chasis broken into two pieces. Don't misguide unless you know NCAP safety rating.. 😭😭

there is video of tesla rear end splitting off in a crash and Tesla is arguably the safest car produced right now...In a side on rear quarter crash, the rear axle with it's subframe is designed to absorb all the impact force and split right off from the chassis as it reduces force being transmitted to the passenger cell compartment...Understand the design and engineering behind things before making a silly comment

Maruthi cars are least in terms of safety and build quality, they appear to give you better mileage but they empty pockets throughout multiple repairs. Anything other than maruthi is good according to me. I used maruthi cars for more than 15 years.

Hi All, Please be aware that KIA Carens condensation issue still not resolved. In August month production car also this issue still persisting, so if you are going to buy Carens do your PDI properly and take the delivery and its very sure that till today delivered vehicle across all varients from Premium to Luxury Plus all Carens condensation issue not resolved. Many times existing Carens owners are reported to KIA directly and through various service centre across country. But KIA not taking any action on the same and just ignoring the complaints.. So those who are booked and waiting be aware of this condensation issue in Carens!!! Kia India #Carens #condensation
