Who was anticipating Velma? The moment they announced the show by saying that there would be no Mystery Machine & Scooby-Doo there was so much backlash & got worst from there with everything that came out about the show.

Okay let's be real, Daredevil was (and still is) definitely more considered "cream of the crop" than Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

I didn’t watch much of the _Defenders_ sub-franchise of Marvel, but _Daredevil_ and _Punisher_ were great from what I saw.

Absolutely, Daredevil on top followed by Punisher, Agents of Shield (after a certain point in season 1 it is amazing especially season 4), Agent Carter.

Jessica Jones series 1 was brilliant, but the other 2 now quite as much. Luke Cage was good but Daredevil was definitely by far the best, and just got better! The punisher again was brilliant 😁

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life The original creator hadn't been involved with the final season and when she came back she basically pretended that the season never happened, and wrote what she'd wanted back then. The biggest problem? TEN YEARS. Rory's plot would've been fine if she was still 21... but in her 30s, it was just so sad

Velma was predicted to fail; not anticipated. The main voice actress can't act and it was announced that there'd be no scooby from the beginning. It was forced to tv despite everyone telling them to stop and then were shocked that it failed.

ABC isn't a good fit for Marvel. Disney hates wasting money on that network. They're still showing that bachelor/Bachelorette show for christ sake. And all reality TV shows suck.

To be fare to Matt LaBlanc he was offered an obscene amount of money to do the show. I'm sure he knew the show would flop and would fade fast enough that his rep wouldn't be tarnished.

The big problem is the refusal to use any of the writers from "Friends", or have cameos from any of the five others. David Schwimmer directed a couple of episodes of "Joey". Why, they couldn't have him on front of the camera for an episode, and have Ross visit Joey while in California for a palaeontology conference?

One good thing about Inhumans, it got cancelled and freed up Anson Mount to play Captain Christopher Pike on Star Trek: Discovery, then his own spinoff Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

The show did ok with both critics and the audience. The problem was that it was on Fox and they didn't want a show with that big of a budget.

The Muppets can be enjoyed by kids and families but it's not strictly for kids. One of the pilots for the original show was called The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence.

For me Charlie's Angels isn't the movies. I am a millenial. But I grew up watching the original Charlie's Angels from the 70s. I hate the movies. A reboot of the show would be fine with me. Even a better reboot of the movies would great.

Nobody at all had hopes for Gotham Knights. The Muppets- I actually didn’t have a problem with this idk why it’s hated. Bionic Woman- Genuinely Disappointed. Power Rangers Super Megaforce- I’d like to slap Saban and the writers for letting this abomination air. Velma- Hell No Charlie’s Angels- Wish it could get a better reboot

I think "The Winchesters" should be on here....SPN fans were excited to hear about a new show, but then confused when we heard the plot, and then as the episodes came out, I think it went down from there....

Fear the Walking Dead should be on here. It started off promising, showing the early days of the zombie apocalypse but then they started killing off all the good characters and going all over the place with stupid plot points that went nowhere and constant retconning

The problem I felt with The Bionic Woman was that the original was a spin-off of The Six Million Dollar Man. We came to care about the character of Jaime and her "death". In the remake, she was simply this woman who's in an accident and who's rebuilt to be a crimefighter. Couldn't her boyfriend had been Steve?

I was HIGHLY excited for Dynasty 2.0 ( the remake that was on The CW). I was anticipating how better this series was going to be ( if that was even possible). While some of the characters (i.e.: Fallon, Steven, and Sam) were better fleshed out and worth caring about, a WHOLE LOT was terribly awful about the show and the characters. I was left almost glad when the show was ending.

I don’t know a single person that was anticipating Velma. The only thing that they anticipated, which it did deliver on, was that it was garbage. For me a show I was anticipating because I loved the previous entry was Transformers robots in disguise from 2015. I absolutely loved Transformers prime and still think it’s probably the best transformers cartoon we’ve ever gotten and was anticipating where the franchise would go after that. well, in the form of its tone, plot, animation, and characters it was a major downgrade, that basically ripped off the plot of avengers earth mightiest heroes when it came to wrangling up, escaped prisoners, and Pokémon, because all of the villains had really lame designs, and zero depth to them, outside of being the stereotypical villain of the week.

I could agree that Velma was terrible, but Iron Fist and Inhumans were good shows. Superbeings need to struggle once in a while, they can't be invincible all the time. It's what makes one completely humane.

Iron Fist was horrible and it was because of all of the overacting. I am sure Finn Jones could have done a better job but the directors could not get a good job out of him.

@seanbigay1042 Her hair is nearly an extension of herself like a long arm, and it was keeping her from using her physical weapons like punching, kicking, or any other forms of combat. And may I remind you that Thor lost his powers, and he learned how to better himself even when he got his powers back. Also her hair will go back eventually.

15. Why did this show do so badly? Because the showrunners never played the games. That. Explains. Everything. It's already getting a season 2, having a different showrunner this time, but I'm not holding my breath. 3. Between the mean-spirited nature, botched/unlikable character portrayals, and insulting it's viewers, this is the worst thing the Scooby-Doo franchise ever conceived. And this is coming from the same franchise that also spawned Scrappy-Doo and the live action movies.

CBS aired a little remembered show in the '90s called "Covington Cross," a sort of Robin Hood-esque adventure show set in the medieval era. People who are into creative anachronism and medieval history were really eager for it, but it died quickly in the ratings. Must have failed its fans' high standards.

As a Halo fan... the Series was FUCKING AWFUL!!! I've heard a rumour that it was APPARENTLY a Mass Effect series that was repackaged as Halo (it makes some sense if you look at the black armour when he's out of the suit) Something he should NEVER BE!

Gotham Knights could have been so big if they didn’t bring random characters into the show. The main character should have been a member of the Bat family and the only edgy character should have been joker’s daughter. There is so much they could have done with the concept, it was good. But the video games were better.

If it makes you feel better I blocked megaforce and super megaforce from my memory ( minus the lines the fandom still quotes) and I agree that mega force wasn’t all that bad: Orion’s origin story was pretty good, Tommy Oliver returned as mmpr green, I thought Gia and Noah were pretty cool, the pirate suits were really pretty and I loved the key concept ( plus now I have an excuse to find and watch the senti) and I really liked vrak ( saban why couldn’t you make him the main villain instead of emperor moth man?) although I do agree with the reboot, let’s see how in the world this plays out

You should do similar list for animated shows. Here's a suggestion, My Little Pony: Make Your Mark and My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale: I know that the characters from G4 a bit naive and clueless sometimes but the characters from G5 are just dumbos most of the time. The Muppets were never specifically designed "for kids". Before Disney edited fhem all, there were very subtle but subversive jokes aimed at adults. The Muppets actually premiered as a Saturday Night Live sketch and were used as commercial pitchmen even before that.

OK, the Halo TV show isn’t that bad once you wrap your head around it being in an alternate universe from the games. I had the same feeling as everyone else the first few episodes but once my brain had finished computing what I just said, I was able to enjoy it for what it is: something using the basic lore of the games as a launching point to do it’s own thing without impacting the games

Personally I felt Freeridge the spin off to On My Block was a let down. It had so much potential and yet...it ended up being so disappointing. Same goes for Heroes Reborn. Both had potential but ended up wasting it. 😊

The Witcher's prequel and Joey were actually both very good. And Just Like That failed because instead of aging, the main characters turn into completely different people as if the writers had never watched the original show, and because they relied more on fan nostalgia than insightful storylines.

What about "AfterMash" back in the day? "MASH" was huge so the hype didn't match the series, as "After MASH" got axed after the first season. Another spin-off, called "Walter", which was about Radar O'Reilly, didn't get past pilot stage.

I would have loved to see "The Patrick Star Show" on the list. I found the plot of the show as rather bad. Maybe they should have left Patrick as a character on "SpongeBob SquarePants."

i literally saw NO one excited for velma. if there was excitement it died the moment it was revealed scooby doo (you know. THE HEART of the franchise and the NAME of it) wasn't even going to be there. imagine rebooting penuts without snoppy or the smurfs without the smurfs and you get the disgrace that it was velma

Scooby being in it wouldn't have saved it. Also, imagine how they would change him for the show. He would probably be a poodle or something.

they should have done a crossover special with Bionic Woman and the Sarah Conner Chronicles. One episode of each series, it would have done Bionic Woman a world of good. Also, give her a bionic dog again.

Dont know what they were thinking when they made The Office version of the Muppets. They should have done a reboot of The Muppet Show and placed it in a good time slot. Would have probably been much more successful.

And Just Like That was a big letdown. The tone is so different from SATC. SATC was a fun, happy, poignant TV show. AJLT is a somber, disorganised and depressing TV show-a complete departure from SATC.
