I don't know if this is the actual meaning behind this song but it's my theory, ok so basically a woman is going through some stuff she was just kicked out of her apartment and she has her 1 year-old son with her who has autism ( no hate to people that have autism, my brain just likes to have me create things more dramatic so, sorry ) and she is going to attempt suicide so she calls a suicide hotline but they decided to be assholes that day so they put her on hold. As she waits she gets hungrier and hungrier but she has no money to buy food and so she just waits for a kind person to walk by and give her some money or food but nothing happens and so she gets so hungry that she loses control and eats her son, she feels so guilty and sad that she commits suicide and then the suicide hotline picks up again but it's to late. So yeah...please don't hate on me it's just a theory I'm not saying that it's correct, okay? Thank you.

My interpretation: a guy who is going through a rough breakup and keeps trying to call his “baby” who I assume is a gold digger “ hoarder if quarters “ but they keep hanging up. He then goes in to a downwards spiral of depression, using drugs and shifting his reality knowing one day his lover will find someone better and be happier. He feels his life was all a waste and calls the suicide hotline, but to no answer. Him, having shifted his reality slowly starts loosing his sanity, and he’s tired of hoping his lover will love him again and answer the phone before he takes his own life. He runs out of luck and does take his own life. His lover then calls him but the phone keeps ringing out and then they realize he’s dead. Please don’t take this as the actual meaning of the song but this is just my interpretation of the song! 👀
