What I feel may be underrated, The Bloody Roar series was one of my favorites to play with my friends growing up

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was definitely a classic & the best out of the Marvel vs. Capcom series. A huge roster, sick combo finishes, made this game legendary!!!

King of fighters, tekken, and street fighter with an honorable mention for mortal kombat was my entire childhood

I'm a bit surprised that at least one Naruto ultimate ninja storm game didn't make it. The only downside is that they never seem to include any movie only characters.

I love the Tekken series and played a ton of Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag back in the day but, just in terms of raw gameplay, Tekken 7 is probably my favorite fighting game of all time.

Street Fighter, DarkStalkers, Power Stone, Marvel vs Capcom, Def Jam, Soul Calibur, Persona 4, Super Smash Bros., Dragon Ball Z, BlazBlue, King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Virtue Fighter, Rival Schools/Project Justice, Samurai Shodown, Dead or Alive, Under Night In-Birth and Skullgirls are all one of My Most Favorite Childhood Fighting Video Game Franchises of All Time.

Capcom vs snk 2 is underrated

Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Marvel Vs Capcom are my list of the best fighting games of all time.

I remember people use to line up in groups at the arcade to play street fighter 2 and tmnt among others but those along with mk2 were my favorites back in the day

Injustice 1&2 tell such an amazing what if story.

Even if Under Night In-Birth, Melty Blood, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax and Arcana Heart are not on the list (oops, spoilers), they are good fighting games.

We need a fighting game where there is a separate RPG mode and you come back to fight each other with your loot and skills.

Marvel VS Capcom 2 has arguably the greatest roster ever There’s so much to love about this game All my favorite Marvel and Capcom heroes, the music, Rogue beautifully kissing her opponents 😍 And Abyss was an awesome final boss

I’ll never forget the first time I saw SF II. In San Diego, walking through an arcade, I saw the big cabinet, and then I saw that next to each joystick, was 6 buttons! I was floored! 6 buttons, that was crazy to see back then!

Guilty Gear won best fighting game last year at the game awards and it's not even mentioned on here. Also no mention of CVS2? This isn't my list, but I feel like those two deserve a spot on any top fighting game list. It doesn't have to be Strive either, I still prefer Xrd, personally.

This list is forgetting X-Men Children of the Atom. Without this game Marvel Vs. Capcom wouldn't exist.

I say my top favorite games are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Tekken, Dead or Alive, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Project Justice & Power Stone!!!! Those games are the golden days of video game glory and I always love playing those games with my friends!!!! Man, I need to get back to playing games soon, lol.

I'm such a huge Rival Schools/ Project Justice Stan. Really hoping they do remakes of the first game or bring out an entire new game.

I genuinely can't even tell if this list was made by somebody who knows what they're talking about or a complete outsider to the FGC. On one hand you have all of these cult classics like P4A, KOF XIII, MVC2, SF2 and Skullgirls getting their much-deserved recognition and on the other are so many headscratchers like War of the Monsters, Def Jam and especially Smash Ultimate at #1, which aren't even fighting games by a lot of people's definition of the genre. Especially since a bunch of great titles like Guilty Gear XX AC+R, Virtua Fighter, Melty Blood and CvS 2 didn't make the list. Although since Watch Mojo lists are more often than not popularity contests, I guess it makes sense to a certain extent.

Soul Caliber on Dreamcast is one of my fav fighters of all time, so many moves and the graphics were way ahead of their time!

Soul Caliber 3 will always be my all time favorite. Yoshimitsu was insane.

Marvel versus Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes should definitely be number one

It's weird how Brawlhalla doesn't get much attention when it has 100 million players with 20million monthly players (crossplay). Insanely good tournament entries online and LAN, massive prize pools, consistent developer support, extremely active community. It's not nearly as recognized as Smash (it does not have the massive legacy or storied history of it), but it deserves some praise imo. It's different from Smash in basically every way but the genre. People are very quick to discount it without giving it a serious try and how good high level competitive play is. Also one of the most balanced fighting games ever.

I expected that Mortal Kombat and Tekken were on top 3. And why Virtua Fighters not on the list? That's one of the pioneer of 3D fighting games and very popular on late 90's arcade machine.

‘Dragon Ball Fighter Z’ became one of the best ‘Dragon Ball’ video games ever made.

Melty Blood(specifically Type Lumina) may be smaller, but it's become my favorite fighting game of all time. So it's sad to not even see it anywhere in the video(although kind of expected).

Ah, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The massive culmination of 40 interconnected franchises and arguably the biggest love letter to us gamers. Still my favourite game to this day. #ThankYouSakurai

Here's my list. I am going by series too. 1. Street fighter. Gotta give credit to where it's due. 2. Mortal kombat. Right now mortal kombat is the number one fighting game right now. 3. Tekken. Tekken 7 has been really been kicking ass right now and the fact that it's still being played at evo is amazing. 4. Marvel vs capcom. This series still sees still tournament play today. 5. Capcom vs. Snk. Still sees some tournament play. 6. Soul calibur. This was a gem when it first came out and was addicting. 7. Kof. These games don't get the love that they should be getting but they are awesome. 8. Virtual fighter. This game was a classic when it came out and still needs some love. 9. Dead or alive. Easiest fighting game to play. 10. Killer instinct. I haven't played this but i know that there's a huge community for it. 11. Super smash bros. This game is still at evo. 12. Guilty gear. Never played it but I know that it still has tournament play at evo. 13. Blaze blue. This series has shown up at a couple of times at evo. 14. Darkstalkers. Please capcom give us a new darkstalkers game. The outcry for a new darkstalkers game is up the wall. 15. Samurai shodown. Back in its prime it was the best thing ever. Still is today. 16. Dragonball fighterz. This has the potential to be a rival to marvel vs. Capcom. 17. Rival schools. I had to show it some love but I know that people want this series back. Capcom make it happen. 18. Injustice. Best DC fighting game ever. 19. Def jam series. Please EA give us another fight for NY already!!!!! 20. Bushido blade. This game needs to see more tournament play. The fact that this isn't having any more tournament play is asinine. It's such an original concept too!!!

I played and loved over half the games on this list. Though DOA2 for Dreamcast was may favorite DOA series.

Half of these fighting games made my years fun growing up as a young kid. Mortal Kombat will always be Number 1 for me Then Streetfighter, everything else comes after, but they really need to remake Def Jam Vendetta & Def Jam fight for New York. Those games Seriously deserves a remaster,🔥🔥

X-MEN: Children of the Atom should be here, because it kicked off the Marvel vs Street Fighter, Marvel Superheroes, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom series of games. It also changed fighting games as a whole by starting the whole game character crossover period

I’m not one of those people to argue that Smash isn’t a true fighter, but to have it at number 1? Not even that, I wouldn’t put it higher than SF2, MK9, Tekken 3, SC2, MvC2, and countless more. Smash Ultimate at number 1 feels disrespectful.

Darkstalkers 3 is the best among the series... It had additional new characters such as B. B. Hood, Jedah Dohma & Hsien-Ko plus the sprites have more improved and more detailed...
