Social Network definitely isn't #1 and IMO shouldn't have even been on the list. Forgot movies like Gladiator, Inception, The Departed and Joker which was also nominated for 11 Oscars. This is definitely one of there worst lists

Kshitij Thapa once upon a time in hollywood was slow as shit and it didn’t get me hooked with the dialogue. Inglorious Basterds had this slow dialogue as well but it always had constant tension between the characters involved. Chrisop Waltz really brought it to life.

Duuude whiplash was simply a masterpiece, the struggle and the concept and the need of approval that Miles teller (among lots of other things) portraits is so touching and intense 👌🏻 it’s a shame it’s so underrated.

Almost everyone disagrees with this list. I myself am disappointed that some movies didn't make it. But hey, it's always subjective, right? But from these, we can conclude one thing, there are so many beautiful movies out there, waiting to be watched. To impact us, to transform us, to entertain us. @Funk O'Matici dont know a lot about the horror genre, but usually i find asian horror genre more thrill and scary than hollywood one.. .for example( sebelum iblis menjemput 2018) very scary for me in this decade...generally i like action and beautiful story telling film...

@@lukkasick9289 if u think this list is good ur not a filmophile either, City of gods placement is god awful, Parasite is a top 5 of the century, Oldboy is missing, Kill Bill somehow made this list over other movies like it, like the raid redemption/ the raid 2, no Country For Old Men at 10 is too low, the social network is top 5 but definitely not at #1, Call me by your name is missing, Inception is missing, moonlight is way too high (especially considering City Of God is at 17) the departed is missing, district 9 should’ve gotten an honourable mention at least same with The Prestige, Her, Incendies, Shoplifters, Memoirs of murder, Yi Yi, Ex-Machina,American Psycho is missing, Gladiator is missing, Memento is missing, Prisoners isn’t even an honourable mention same with Blade Runner, Interstellar. And the list goes on and on. The list is garbage and if u were actually a filmophile u would know that.

I can mostly agree with you with Whiplash, Children of Men and a few more. I would include Interstellar, Inception and Blade Runner 2049 in the list too just because I'm a sci-fi gay. But they made a pretty good list (compared to wm's other lists) and your list have some real masterpieces too.

reel deal I’ve seen every Villeneuve film except Incendies, and every one of them is incredible. Pretty much all of them are masterpieces. The guy has only been around like 10 years and already has one of the best filmographies ever. I cannot express how excited I am to see his remake of Dune. Seeing that is my main reason for not wanting to die within the next year.

@@PeterAtkinson my current(!) favorite director because of his last ten years' work is absolutely stunning. Prisoners is a masterpiece, but my favorites are Arrival and 2049 from him. Two incredibly deep films, the first one is a really unique gem about communication, the 2nd however is my favorite, I just love everything in 2049, I think that's one of the best sequels of all time that's probably better than the 1st one and although I'm not a critic but that's for me is one of the best films of this century.
