Bergman continued to be admired by the women of her generation, and many of the men. From Italy, she projected an unashamed image of a woman in love, not to mention the beautiful twins she had by Rossellini and clearly adored. She made films in Italy, returned to Hollywood, and closed out her career playing iconic women, despite being very ill with cancer. She remains one of the most beloved and admired actresses of all time.

You made an error when you said Tippy Hedren was in "Psycho." Tippy Hedron WAS NOT in "Psycho.' It was Janet Lee who was in the infamous Shower Scene in "Psycho.".

And the uptight religious conservatism that thinks sex should not be for fun. The rapes and assault were disgusting and wrong, but Marlene and Garbo liaisons would be worth seeing!! Jerry Lee Lewis and Chaplin were pedophiles like Tucker and Matt Gaetz, as well as all the congressmen that went to Epstein's island. Rock Hudson's tale also reversed the stigma and even got reagan to help. Mickey Rooney was in that MGM photo of only men promised to have any dancer they wanted. He was an a-hole.

“Who doesn’t want to be conceived in love? “ I get that as I didn’t have a choice. I returned to my physically abusive husband after being in a domestic violence shelter, which I was required not to ever tell the address of. Add to my religious convictions at that time, that marriage is forever. I had no choice but to sleep with my ex husband, using the rhythm method, because we felt like we couldn’t afford birth control, and subsequently my daughter was conceived. If I would have refused him, he would have been suspected that I was been with someone else instead of being at the women’s shelter. So, I really had no choice. She believes that she was conceived when the air conditioning system got fixed, which it did, con incidentally, and that’s all she needs to know.

mickwest* who are you referring to as being lucky? It sure wasn't Arbuckle. Sadly he was never accepted after that fiasco. And the same still goes on today.
