However, it is a constant reputation to avoid temptation when you are an addict. I hope Marvel had insurance if RDJ fell off the wagon. I saw a show on Phillip Seymour Hoffman and he was a reformed drug addict and was clean for over twenty years, but succumbed to temptation, and it killed him. So RDJ will never be free from temptation for that lifestyle. Not a put down, just a reality.

It’s called acting. JK Simmons played a racist bigot natsi and Leo Dicaprio played a racist bigot slave master. Want to include them in the list as well? How about Ed Norton for playing a neo natsi? Context matters. Howard was doing a sketch, which is acting. Matter of fact, I’m with you, let’s all cancel Stern, Leo, and Simmons!! Let’s ban Django, American History X, and Oz. Only thing that should be shown on tv and movies is rainbows and unicorns! Context doesn’t matter!

Not to defend Ted Danson's roast back then, but I do remember that it was a joint effort between Goldberg and Danson. The Associated Press reported this in a 1993 article, "Goldberg said she herself had written much of the material for Danson and even found him the makeup artist who applied the blackface." Furthermore, according to the article, "the Friars Club is known for ribald roasts and jokes focus on sex, gender, bodily functions, religion and race." I don't think his bit was tasteful and it was definitely offensive, but that was the point.

Danson received negative press attention October 8, 1993, after his appearance wearing blackface at a Friars Club comedy roast in honor of Goldberg, and for using many racist slurs. Later Goldberg defended the sketch, explaining that she had helped write much of the material and referred Danson to the makeup artist who painted his face as a societal critique.

Worst for me was Michael Fassbender, I had no idea until recently but he allegedly abused his ex, horribly, there were so many allegations I can't remember them all but the standouts were him assaulting her in a hotel room and breaking her nose, and another where he allegedly grabbed her by her hair and dragged her down a flight of stairs. Whenever he's asked about the allegations he's really dismissive of them too, it's weird, and they've more or less been forgotten about. Had a lot of respect for the guy but I just can't look at him the same way, gives me the creeps.
