Thank you for reviewing so many different unique scents from so many fragrance houses. I had no idea there are so many interesting and good choices.

Philosophy Fresh Cream is a lovely fluffy milky vanilla and the matching moisturizer is awesome too. Gilded Fox by Pinrose is a buttery cocoa with rum and vetiver and wood, it’s nicely natural and edible. Paithani by Penhaligons is just like Indian cardamom milk fudge with a lovely sandalwood basenotes. Reve de Nirmala by Molinard has a fermented sour mango patchouli top notes but a surprising warm airy toasty Cocoa Pebbles cereal base. Signorina Misteriosa blackberries and milk mousse.

Madera by Omnia Profumi is a butterscotch caramel. Note Vanille by Micallef is a boozy, citrus fruity, licorice spicy vanilla. Chia by Farmacia SS. Annunziata is a sugary, nutty vanilla. Captured in Amber and Café Cacoa from the Indie House En Voyage are chocolatey ambers and Cafe' adds a hint of coffee. Guerlain's Oriental Brulant is a heavy Benzoin/Styrax, almond, Tonka, vanilla. Red Aoud by Montale is a warm, spicy, baked cookie. These are just a few that I love. This is my favorite genre of fragrances. Thanks for sharing your list.

I cannot stop wearing Ambra Aurea and Olympic Amber by Olympic Orchids. They aren’t gourmands (I’m not a gourmand lover) but they are so dense and honeyed that they are “delicious” for me!

Its complicated when some people dont let some offerings to bloom on your skin, this is the case of Tom Ford Private Blend Vanille Fatale, some folks bashed the so called flanker or Tobacco Vanille which its not at all. This to me is the best TF Private Blend release from the last hit of Tom Ford Tobacco Oud Intense, also People keep comparing the LEGO bottle with Xerjoff NAXOS, its nuts to compare, the compliment getter galore that NAXOS has no other XERJOFF offering has that magnet effect. Oh I love Benjoin Bohème your n°6 ! I'm really interested by Battito d'Ali, Profumum Roma is a good brand, specially on gourmand fragrance, the way they use vanilla is very delicate, sweet but not too sugary. In this season very appropriate fragrances, thanks !

I love Battito D'Ali! I put it on my skin when I was at Osswald NYC and wanted to wear it for a bit. Long story short, left without purchasing it and I've regretted it ever since. Definitely I'll be asking for it for my bday in May. Great list! The only two I'd have added are AdP Mandorlo di Sicilia (reminiscent of a root beer float) and MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 edp.

Great list, for me, I too would have By The Fireplace on my list (been rocking that one lately), Sweet Redemption by Kilian, Benevolence by HoS, and for some reason I think I’d add Oud Satin Mood to that list (it’s just a beast and reminds me of a fancy candy).

great list. I just recently got Intoxicated by Kilian...... awesome. I love it, though I think is more a male fragrance then unisex. But still wear it. It has a great longevity, for me about 6 hours, and i love the sweetnes and the coffee at the end

I really love Molinard house, many unique and high quality scents which that can be found for really cheap. Love Mugler's Hot Cologne, really have to try more from their line. Vanilla Fatale truly incredible, really want to get it next to one of my favorties Tobacco Vanille. Really want to try Maison Margiela, but not yet to be found in my country. And Naxos, my top 5 all time favorite next to Pure Havane, stunning and long lasting, strong honey with lots of lavender and fresh cigar spice, very smooth and comforting, recently bought a new bottle on a Black Friday for 150 euros, old bottle design is just amazing, a lot of worry if scent changed with new bottles, rest assured, scents are really the same.

Well done, Seb! Naxos had been at the TOP of my to try list for more than a year now. Personally, even though I enjoy sniffing them, I am not confident on the wearability of heavy gourmand types especially the overly sweet ones. Any of the sweet smelling ones that are appropriate in an office environment? And have you tried Choco Musk yet?

Gotta check out a TJ Maxx! And subjectively, off the top of my head, Cartier's L'Envol because of the honey note and Lubin's Akkad smelling of vanilla/amber.

Sebastian!! I CANNOT believe you like Choc Mat & do not like Choc Greedy! I am the opposite! Mat smells like choc covered cheese to me. I have both, never use the Mat. My fave WAS Aquolina Chocolovers, boy what a mistake they made discontinuing that one & keeping all of those nasties....& I am sure you have this, but Al Rehab Choco Musk OIL, not spray. The spray is terrible.

I wish Vanille Fatale smelled like how you described it :( All I smell is very strong leather. I love vanilla scents but every time I smell Vanille Fatale I fell like I have to throw up. I tried it so many times. And every time I had to wash it off :(
