35:25 this is patched tech called a Backjump, was removed in 2022 or 23 (I forgot which) and used the ladder jump height to make you jump higher. However, it is patched and no longer works. Scripts in CM can be used to revert the change, but most maps don’t use it.

As much more of a tiered obby/JToH player, seeing you talk about the stickouts and long jump at the end of Hyper Speed as if they were odd, foreign objects is so weird to me; I was especially shocked when you considered just doing a jump forwards as "the normal way." Find it funny how despite the fact that small platforms are a common hallmark of earlier gameplay for both communities, you never call them thin studs. Also, what do you call the small poles that stick out from the wall? Pyles? Piles? I've never heard that before. gg on all the clears lol

Here we go! This is going to be a ride. Also if possible can you do Rocketpig3527's maps which is as of right now of this comment. Blue Moon: Sector C Once in a Blue Moon Collapsing Reactors (Which is the hardest map he's done) Shattering Dimension He's currently working on Subterranean Escape and a reimagined version of Collapsing Reactors the last time I checked. He is infrequent with uploads but they are at a great standard however and is probably working on those maps. If one of his maps I would test, it would be Collapsing Reactors and that the First two rooms and the ascent. Because spoiler alert, there are plenty of unfun stuff in there. Context from my experience (I haven't passed it but trying to): The first trestle you need to pass quickly and on your first try right after spawn. To the 1st button there is an annoying thin jump & wrap around you only have one attempt at clearing in which if you fail you're toast, after pressing that button you need to stand back where you won't be stuck on the lockdown door and the 1st ascent is unforgiving. The next annoying part is after the ziplines in the cargo bay after clearing the first reactor. You need to be quick in getting the air bubble, clear the door closing and into the cargo elevator in which then the rest of map is forgiving until you reach the final run where you need to clear the Sector 5 Reactor and get through Exit D really quickly with a Flood Seal Door that will close and you can barely clear at the end. You have to do this at an ultra fast pace although the flood does rise a bit slower in the parts I've mentioned being hard don't let that deceive you. You need to clear it fast no matter what.

Surprised Raging Depths is somehow even a little bit relevant in this year, but glad to see it appear again, and also glad to see you still hate it. You're welcome 👍

Knowing that you beat all of that, with some of them not being any of the good ones... Well, let me tell you something... FE2's most recent update makes Crazy+ a reality... So you best be ready... As the maps start to become even worse... Good luck in the future pal, you're possibly gonna need it.

watching this video, what I can see is needed for a "difficult" map is just make it as stupidly unfair as possible. Lasers, layout that requires like 7 playthroughts to remember, time crunch that requires holding w, etc. very few maps are actually difficult because they're difficult, all of them rely on cheap tricks to be "hard"
