Carrie AND her mom, Debbie, had really wicked senses of humor, which I believe is why Debbie was friends with Elizabeth Taylor, even after she "stole" Debbie's husband for awhile. They both ditched the guy and hung out together instead! I worked in Hollywood for a few years and it's like the medical field for really dark humor. I'm going to always miss them all! When I saw it I cried and cried, and was so embarrassed, but couldn't help it! We always adopt dogs with odd "problems", so seeing Brian die was so traumatic!

And I don't know if you remember but people lost their minds LOL and we're so outraged when that happened, lol . Seth McFarlane said he didn't plan on making it permanent they were supposedly already going to bring him back later but he also said in an interview he was crazy surprised on how upset people were LOL. That scene always gets me choked up 😢 I lost my little doggie of 16 years before that . Rip to ur doggy loved one ❤

I honestly cried when Pearl died. I don’t like Brian all too much, but what he did in her last moments of life was beautiful. That is something I can respect.

I remember being super pissed off about Brian's death. I liked his character in the earlier seasons where he was sort of a mentor to Peter and he had a lot of funny moments. Then they killed him off, replaced him with this unlike dog for one season, and they bring Brian back... only now, he's about as insufferable as Quagmire these days.

Odd thing is for #15 Derek. Those who may not know, is Jillian would be stuck as a widow and alone raising their kid as in the extras of "Then there were Fewer", Derek and Jillian reveal to the group that they're expecting a child together. However idk if it was mentioned again after Derek was off'd

Brian's death from being hit by that car really hit the fandom. Many had stopped watching and many were considering to stop watching, I was among them. From such a drastic drop in viewer's and rating's it was then "leaked" that Brian would be coming back very soon. Not the exact word's but the point should be obvious. It was obviously planned that Brian's death wasn't gonna be permenate and they'd surprise viewer's by brining him back a few episode's later. I guess they weren't expecting such a reaction from viewer's/fan's.

Brian’s death really struck me hard. I just recently got into Family Guy and when I saw that episode for the first time, I just recently lost my own dog so it really hit me hard

Why isn’t Death on the list? He was one of the most memorable deceased characters on the show. It was shown after he died, he reincarnated into a Chinese baby girl and was aborted seconds later. I can only assume after that, he went into the afterlife.

Death wasn't aborted. This is pretty dark but what family guy was referencing was something called the one-child policy. It stated 2 parents couldn’t have more than one child unless they paid a fine. If it was discovered they had more than one kid the child would be taken from them and if it was a girl sadly they would likely have been killed.

I was thinking the same thing. Personally I know him most from Archer but he spent a long time on SNL and had a pretty memorable role as Doctor Spaceman on 30 Rock as well as a ton of other roles (largely as a voice actor but plenty of live action roles too).

By the time I watched the episode "Life of Brian", I already knew he had died and come back. I was only excited to watch one of the most popular episodes for the first time. Damn, I cried. "Laugh and Cry"... Maybe not often, but when it wants to, Family Guy really does pull the "cry" part off.

One of the reasons i stopped watching FG, Seth was notorious for killing off characters! Whereas the Simpsons only bumped off a few throughout its nearly 35 year history!!! Giving tons of contents for many of its recurring characters

If I'm correct, the episode when Brian and Quagmire run for Mayor, Adam West makes an appearance by saving them from falling to their deaths. At the end of the episode, the voice actor does appear, they show a clip of him. It was a joke about baseball I think. The ending moments of the episode were the memories of Adam West.

Darn this list actually reminded me of how good Family Guy used to be back when Seth McFarlane actually cared about it but the quality went down the drain as soon as he left the writers room and never looked back remember when all he wanted was to do enough episodes to get the show syndicated.
