Same and it’s sadder considering it’s the comic relief character and they’re the ones you’d least expect to get killed off and considering Pixar has a good string of comic reliefs, it’s definitely a risk that they too, but executed well.

People overlook Boromir's sacrifice so much, it annoys me. Yeah, he came off as a snarky jerk at first and almost killed Frodo for the One Ring, but the former was because he was struggling with the thought of his homeland being destroyed by Sauron, and the latter was because he was being corrupted by the Ring. Despite that, he managed to redeem himself by attempting to save Merry and Pipin. Why can't people see that? Hey, critics of Boromir. Here's a suggestion: Why don't you try being in Boromir's place? I would love to see you try to make it as far as he did. I bet you wouldn't make it past the Pass of Caradhras, the area before the Fellowship went to Moria.

Sometimes these are 50/50 hit or miss, this time, it was spot on for its number one pick.

You picked the right number one this time. You did forget to include starship troopers, though.

the protagonist in Children of Men (2006) also has a heroic death, dying for the greater good and for a mission he initially didn't want to have

Does anyone recognize Merlin’s voice from somewhere else? That reminds me of Macmillan from the COD MW series. Also, we got Harper here in the form of yondu. Anyone who has played COD black ops 2 knows who Harper is.

Boromir seems to get top spot over a perceived tunaround redemption; the killing spree at the end of the original THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE was presented as Raymond Shaw's redemption, though in the book it was Bennett Marco's retribution. By the same token, you missed Colonel Nicholson in THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI.

Idk if it was just my small town this happened too. But I distinctly remember cartoon network playing the Iron Giant back to back for 3 days straight...
