I remember when I was a kid in the early 2010’s and the first time I saw that scene from insidious it scared the crap outta me. That movie (more specifically that scene) is so iconic to me. I also remember how viral it went.

When I watched it for the first time, I remember holding my hand up in front of my eyes so I only saw the edge of her body. The thumbnail was literally the first time Ive seen what happened and I am indeed grateful I covered my eyes. Fucking creepy 😳🔫

15:55: The Cabin in the Woods monster cellar has Left 4 Dead zombies in it as well. If you pause the movie at the right time, you'll see a Witch, a Tank and a Boomer.

In the alternate ending of the 2013 version of Carrie, there's a scene where Sue briefly sees Carrie (in her prom dress and covered in blood) holding her baby girl as she's giving birth to her. It appears so briefly and quickly that you have to play the scene on 0.5 or 0.25 speed so that you actually have enough time to pause it and get a proper look at it. Its an interesting scene because in the movie right before Carrie dies, she touches Sue's stomach and whispers "it's a girl" to her (she didn't realise she was pregnant at that time) so it suggests that Carrie left some sort of imprint on Sue's daughter when she was born.

Honestly I think Cabin in the Woods might be the most genius horror film for the last couple decades. It points out the tropes like Scream but in a mocking way instead of being serious. And the whiteboard is one moment i always pause and just get a laugh out of because of all the movie references like Hell Priest for Pinhead and the Cenobites. Molesting Tree for Evil Dead. Dream Lord for Freddy Krueger and so many others. I also just love the commentary about people behind the screen needing to please a higher power aka filmmakers needing to please the fans. It's so on the nose that i just can't help but smirk at it. Love that movie so damn much it's seriously underrated.

@@absolutedegenerate2992 Scary Movie was a parody film it wasn't meant to be scary. While Cabin WAS horror movie. If you found Scary Movie actually scary then you scare easier than most toddlers. Though I do agree Scary Movie is really amazing and even over 20 years later it's funny af

@georgethomas4567 no i dont find it scary at all lmao i just thought it was meant to be a horror movie because of the stereotypical title and the gore yet the humor of it was underlying because it is a parody that is why I LOVE IT THE HUMOR IS META AND FUNNY lol but yeah but i just dont think cabin is special because it has almost been done pretty much just without the scaryness. Besides i think it tries to please both sides of the emotional pallette but it all it does is compromise for me and i cant decide what exactly i should be feeling should i laugh or be scared it just breaks immersion when it wants you to be immersed generizaltion so it doesnt specialise in either.

Another moment that I saw in The Exorcist that I noticed was when Karras was being possessed by Pazuzu, and I saw a brief image of his mothers face. I thought that was a nice touch to put in the movie, as if Karras’ mother was giving him the strength he needed to overcome the demons influence.

Regarding #3, we actually get a longer look at Katie's face than we do Noah's near the end of the film and his is more horrifying to pause on. I did once, by accident, and it's shown for half the time. Go ahead and look it up. You're closer to it and see more details.
