One of my faves...Shift+cmd+g use to mute groups. It's a toggle to unmute. Nice channel, thx Wave!

My favorite is Alt+A (PC) or Option+A (Mac). After zooming in to make quick edits, I don't have to "R" myself to death or mess with the manual zoom. This snaps the entire project to fit from zero reference to the end of the last clip on the timeline. Very useful at the end of mixing down the track or to just see what the session looks like at any given time. I've made a few mistakes with cutting, copying and pasting (from rookie to pro, we all do it) in certain places where I didn't mean to or maybe shifted/nudged clips by mistake. Had I not used this quick shortcut, I would have spent more time than I needed fixing the mistake. #Salute

Appreciate the tips. I'm surprised you don't use a DAW controller, but as efficient as you are with the keyboard/mouse I'm guessing that's why there's no need. It all boils down to efficiency for the person behind the tools.

i think at the end when you said command+spacebar (which is another way to record), you meant shift+spacebar which plays your session back in half time ;) great video!

actually cmd + space bar is really helpful u can track really quickly using it, Instead of using 2 hands u can just use one hand to stop and re-record a track !

Wayne i need to know if in pro tools there is a built in tuner tool, like in logic where i started and know everything about it ALMOST, there is a built in tool that is a tuner u either him a note in the mic and it will detect it or as a tuner for guitar, i use it to find the key of the song easily, is there the same tool in PT or do i have to use a plugin lie gtr tuner

4:27 AND by pressing Shift+Command+UP/DOWN WHILE in that dialog you can add another row of channels to add 7:40 Can't I start recording and stop recording, all while playing? Like manual punch in and punch out? 17:44 Command+Spacebar... I thought you said it would start the recording...
