Siam Amazing Park, originally called Siam City Park, has the best collection of thrill rides in Thailand. As the largest amusement park located in Bangkok itself, Siam Amazing Park is also the oldest amusement park in Thailand by almost 13 years. A large expansion in 2008 saw many new rides, including 3 new roller coasters added to the park. Currently, a few older rides have been removed in recent years, and a few more are SNBO waiting to be removed as the park looks to shift and recover from CoVid-19. Bummer. It should be operating, but has been closed on both my visits. Just had bad luck with that one, unfortunately.

Thanks! Hopefully you have a great time! They recently replaced the Dino jeeps with a train ride that looks like an enjoyable quasi dark ride - I’m excited to experience that whenever I can get back myself!

No. It is still standing, but has been removed from all park maps and the website, and hasn’t operated in what appears to be years. So, sadly, it’s likely slatted for removal.

Great video! Learned a lot about the park. Simple questions here: does the thrill park and the water park share the same entrance ticket? Is bringing my swimming suit necessary?

The water park is through the theme park, but the tickets can vary if you get a cheaper one. The main ticket includes everything, but there are cheaper options that include just the water park (think about 500 baht though the price varies a little) or a walk in option (these are on the website, but I think only the Thai version of the website). I also have a review video that discusses this a bit more, if that’s helpful. Yes, you should bring your own swimsuit (you can buy or rent one there if you don’t have one). Just make sure it meets Southeast Asian standards (no metal) - as that’s their rules, though it’s not enforced super strict.

Hi, I have a question. I'm visiting Thailand in a few weeks and I'm not sure if I should go to Siam Amazing Park or Dream World. Which place do you think is better to go to for teenagers?

Thailand doesn’t have anything stellar when it comes to large thrill amusement parks. Dream World is just a charming place, so, if you’re only going to go to one, I’d say go there for the mix of family activities and charm. However, Dream World is more of a family park, so it might not have larger thrills. Siam Amazing Park does have a slight edge when it comes to larger thrill rides with nice inverting rides and larger coasters, though they’re not particularly unique with just an SLC and Boomerang. Having both the thrills rides and water park is a benefit of Siam Amazing Park as well, but the water park isn’t super special. Just unique for Thailand that there’s coasters and a water park (though that’s common in many amusement parks around the globe).

Which is good to choose dream world or Siam theme park for thrill rides?

Dream World is the better park with the theming and overall feel. Siam Amazing Park has inverting coasters, more and better spinning rides, a drop tower (which I haven't been able to ride), and an included water park. But, if you're only going to one, I'd pick Dream World as it is more of a unique complete Thai experience. Siam Amazing Park has slightly better thrill rides, but few are unique compared to other parks around the world. I have a video ranking all the amusement parks in Thailand, if you're interested (Dream World and Siam Amazing Park are 1 and 2 respectively).

Is Siam Park is good to bring 6 years old kids? and Under 110cm

There’s not as much here for kids with Small World offering very basic offerings. 7 Other attractions have a 103cm requirement but require an adult to accompany the child on all those rides: all 4 family world rides, astroliner and astrofight, and the log flume. Most water park activities can be enjoyed by all, with the two main slides having a 121cm height restriction. Siam Amazing Park is skewed more towards thrill rides, especially with the removal of a few family rides in recent years, so it’s probably not the best for young kids. Dreamworld is the better all around family park, and YoYo Land has great charm as a kid focused park.

I’m not a smoker so I’m not sure where any would be. There’s none listed on the map I have, and the website says something vague about being smoke free - but even in the USA smoke free places still have smoking sections. But I’m not sure about Thailand.

Dont Go to this. THis is completely spam because once you go there then only you will be informed that many of the rides are closed for maintenance. They will not refund your money also, For Kids its ok small rides will be open

They have had some rides closed on my visits, but normally no more than 4, not including the standing but not operating rides that are no longer listed on their websites and such. They also had closures listed at the ticket booth, at least on my visits. Though, it’s an inherent risk of going to any amusement park that some rides might be closed and/or rides close during the day for weather or maintenance purposes.

IF the RIDES are closed they should have a prior notice. But they just mention after we purchase the tickets and they never forget to say that the ticket is non-refundable. In the ticket they mention that rides are unlimited. But after we go there some rides start at a delayed schedule. So it is not unlimited.
