It might be one of the weakest of the four when comparing attack stats, but it makes up for it in competitive with a great type combination, good ability and surprisingly diverse movepool

You stupid idiot, Arctozolt and Dracozolt have an electric type version of the move AND have higher attack! That means it hits harder, thus making it better.

I feel like you didn’t take ability’s, HA, items into account. Like, sure, stats wise sure dracofish isn’t the strongest fossil, but he can literally do 300 damage.

akaNazrul fishuss rend does 90 damage. He has access to strong jaw, which boosts biting moves. He can use a choice band and boost it even further

If the rival doesn't go for a hit that deals more than 50% of the health in the first turn, just use belly drum and watch as you sweep all of his team with his crazy speed and attack. You can even use dynamaxed ice type moves to get rid of focus sash users, and nothing but priority can beat this absolute beast

@@Justic_ Ubers is a dead format in this gen anyways. Three Pokemon are in the tier. The only time we've had less than that is in Gen. 1, where we had Mewtwo and Mew, of which the latter was a non-entity.

@@ShinyShilla Personally think something like Long Reach would fit better since the mon uses a ball to execute it's physical attacks. Libero/protean would fit Inteleon better to match it's spy/"adapt to any situation" description, but I guess no one wants a greninja clone.. EDIT: Or if we follow the card game version, Libero would basically give Cinderace increased priority on it's first attack after entering the field.

No it's just a 160 base power move and it turns into it's Eternamax form for the animation only. As soon as the move ends it goes back to normal and can't act on the next turn while it recharges.

I think obstagoon is a really solid high tier mon cuz it's typing allows a lot of switch ins and flexibilities. Immunity to psychic and ghost while resisiting dark cannot be ignored. Only being weak to bug/fairy moves and being quaded by fighting really isn't that bad considering it gets STAB for a lot of the moves it has access to. Slap night slash cross poison taunt & obstruct with scope lens on it and you got yourself something that can stand up to a lot of things and play mindgames as well as shut down enemy support. Obstagoon is VERY useful in competitive play.

Thanks to the Galarian forms of the Zigzagoon line these Pokemon changed from usually being pretty much ignored by me into three of my absolute favourite Pokemon. Watching these lists to get an idea what Pokemon I could try during my next playthrough but an Obstagoon always has to be part of my team.

5:15 To note here is that the Coalossal line is based on coal getting hotter and hotter. It has a really slow speed stat but he learn many moves that can boost his speed. He learn flame charge, Rapid Spin, Rock Polish and Ancient Power. This ability boosts his speed by 3 when he gets hit by a water or fire attack. Water hits him 4 times hard but he resists fire 4 times. I really like the new Pokémon

I’ve heard Hatterene is a reference to a princess locked away in a tall tower. While I think it’s a weird and not very attractive design, it does make sense as a feminine counterpart to Grimmsnarl being based on the grisly Grimm brothers fairytales.

I feel like frosmoth should be an honorable mention. It's base stats are a bit frustrating, but it's special attack takes the cake with 120 base SA. Also it's ability Ice Scales protects frosmoth from special attacking moves (ex: thunderbolt)by halving the damage they can normally do. It has a good variety of moves too, like dazzling gleam, ice beam, avalanche, and bug buzz. I love frosmoth, it's an incredibly powerful Pokemon if used properly.

Something I would like to point out with sandaconda, good luck keeping any of your weather when fighting this thing. Yeah, you might get your sun or rain for a turn, but once you hit sandaconda it's gone. If you used drizzle or drought, now you have to switch out and back in to give yourself weather again. The fact that sand can come out multiple times without switching and without using a move is pretty good.

Actually, Dracovish has a move that could make it the strongest fossil mon (Fishious Rend). It can do 382 damage based off of a website I saw but yeah. I know this is based off stats but if your going competitive, it's probably the strongest fossil.

Here is the thing about Garchomp: Yes there are Pokemon with higher attack than it, but Garchomp's stats are so well distributed that it creates a perfect harmony to make it deadly. No wasted points at all! Great attack, great HP and speed, good bulk, and even decent sp. attack for special coverage it is probably the best designed psuedo-legendary Pokemon made to date.
