Halle Berry deserved an Academy Award in 2002. ‘Monster’s Ball’ is one of the best movies in the early 2000s.

And I've already commented on this video, but I just want to say how happy it makes me that you recognize Toni Colette's performance in Hereditary! I've only been able to make 2 other people watch that movie, but she's amazing in that role. The movie also has a way of exploring actual, emotional fears rather than just thrills and it makes the movie more than a horror film. It's really satisfying that somebody else feels the same way

Comedian and TV/film Jamie Foxx’s performance as Ray Charles Robinson was absolutely good in 2004. ‘Ray’ is still one of my most favorite Hollywood movies of all time.

If Brendan Fraser does not win an Oscar for The Whale, then there is no justice in this world. He simply acted his a** off in that movie. It is heartbreaking, it is sickening sweet at times but is a complete masterpiece from front to back. I could not see any other actor being able to play Charlie like Mr. Fraser did.

2022 is the year of Brendan Fraser's long awaited Comeback. While "The Whale" itself has received lukewarm reviews, many have cited Brendan as easily the best part about it. Hopefully he'll be nominated for a slew of awards come Oscar season!

I do respect your choices, and I agree with most of them. But as much as I like Christian Bale in 'American Psycho', I'd prefer to see Ellen Burstyn in 'Requiem for a Dream' as the highlight of 2000.

The Master is arguably the best acted film of the decade, between Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman's co-leads (and the processing scene is already identified as the best dialogue in recent years), Amy Adams, and supporting roles from Jesse Plemons, Rami Malek and Laura Dern.

Leo was also brilliant as Howard Hughes in The Aviator.

My favorite 2015 performance was Rosamund Pike's Amy Dunne in Gone Girl.
