Top 25 Minecraft 1.17 Mods You Can Play Right Now!

Күн бұрынHey guys! It's been just 2 days since Minecraft 1.17 was released, and lots of mods are already updated. Currently, only the Fabric mod loader works, but hopefully we'll see an update for Forge soon. I recorded this video on Minecraft 1.16.5, but I did test all the mods beforehand on the latest version, although I couldn't get them all to work together.
I recently did a poll, and 80% of you said that you're staying on Minecraft 1.16.5, so now I don't know what type of content to do 😬

@@pulatelephonics yeah, it was recorded from the mine con that the warden can two hit and kill full netherite, so yeah, i think its pretty hard. :)

@@Slight-Confusion I mean in a modded environment. Because if you have ice and fire installed it can make things kinda easy without a scaling mod

@@pulatelephonics its not going to be. Mojang said that one of the main ideas for the warden is that it's going to be one of the strongest if not THE strongest mob in all of minecraft. Most likely even rivaling the ender dragon and wither. The idea is that its incredibly overpowered (on purpose) because its supposed to be something you just avoid entirely. And if you do manage to kill it. It won't drop anything. Not even xp. They did say that it might drop a trophy to prove you killed a warden but other then that it won't drop anything useful

imma wait till the caves update comes out before I go to 1.17. While being attack by goats is all fun and dandy, i don't wanna give up the 60+ mods i installed on 1.16.5

There’s some good cave mods for 1.16.5 anyways. I personally prefer them to what’s in 1.17

@@aubreyh1930 yeah, a terrain generator + cave generator + underground biomes is pretty close to the 1.18 experience. The only thing missing is extended world height and the ores. There's even some cave and cliff mods that add the content from Part 1

You know, the HWG mod seems really cool. Adding guns that are actually textured and feel somewhat vanilla is what I've been waiting for... TOO BAD the devs just HAD to be one of those "No Forge port" types of people!!!

@@PwrDown Have you considered encouraging Fabric more? From what I see, more and more modders are migrating to Fabric due to the better load times, better community and faster updates. Unfortunately, it seems the playerbase does not understand how impactful the bad management of Forge is (since all you see in Fabric mod pages is "forge version pls" -- not to mention the results of your poll!). Being a popular content creator, perhaps you could shed some light on the playerbase? That being said, this is not your responsibility, and your content is amazing already. I don't even mod too much but I never miss an episode of yours

@@PwrDown you should do 1.16.5 stuff for forge, and 1.17 stuff for fabric. forge is going to stay on 1.16.5, it will become the new 1.12.2 and fabric uses the latest version

I had a look at curseforge page cause i was curious about the mod situation at 1.17 and i was a bit shocked... there are already around 38 pages of mods for 1.17 but about 95% are only for fabric... as a forge user, thats kind of a nightmare so aside from the original game content, i will not update any time soon and loose most of the mods i use.

Aye, Fabric may be faster in updating, but I have found the Forge system generally has larger, more in-depth, and higher quality mods. That is not to say that Fabric has a well-rounded collection of its own.

These are complementary shaders? It looks like Sildurs 🤔. I'd really like to know which settings do you use. I had complementary shaders before, but couldn't set it up how I wanted so I ended up deleting it...

You could do forge 1.16.5 mods and fabric 1.17 mods in the same videos since they never were compatible anyway
