Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Minecraft Mods of the Week! I might have to change the title of that though as I’m falling behind a little! These mods are from around 2 weeks ago, but I’ll work on catching up ASAP, but it shouldn’t be too big of a deal as mod releases seem quite slow right now :). These mods are for Forge and Fabric, and tested on Minecraft 1.17.1. I have a Resource Pack video in the works, and a Fabric RPG Video.

Great list as always, your videos are always the highest quality mod content around. Could you do a Client-Side mod list for 1.17.1? I'm playing on a vanilla server and id love to find some great client-side mods to make it more interesting!

Amazing video and you covered pretty much all aspects of the mods. One suggestion would be to mention if a mod is client side or server side or both. But great video nonetheless👍

I loved the Cosmic bubble, Uncraftable and More Villages mods. The Uncraftable mod should be implemented by devs in vanilla MC as sometimes we craft some stuffs and don't need them anymore, so this item can be very helpful to get back all the resources which were used!

An uncrafting table would be too op for the main game. Think about it: villagers sell diamond gear already, so it would mean infinite diamonds.

So i read somewhere that curse supports fabric mods, but when ever i try and use a fabric mods, i get a error saying that its a fabric mod and it cant be loaded. Is there something i have to do, or did i just read it wrong?

The idea of heavily limiting the conveniency of things like stack sizes of ores in order to force usage of neglected aspects of the game is an interesting concept- I’ve never once even seen anybody bother to use a minecart chest and rail system to bring things up and down into cave systems. I don’t know of it’s a GOOD way to encourage the usage of those mechanics, though. It feels more like a severe hinderance. Even if the minecart chest would have more of a use, it isn’t particularly beneficial enough to balance out the lack of being able to stack ores anymore than once. Maybe the carts could have specialized storage for massive amounts of a single item- more so than you could carry in your inventory anyway- that could very rapidly be unloaded into another cart or chest instead of needing a hopper. There just needs to be more utility in the mechanic itself- not severe limitations in the rest of the game that forces you to try using it. Hoping the mod creator sees this

I had an idea for an achievement called "Fire fighter" Because you can't bring water into the nether, The challenge would be to get a burned to follow you into the overworld and then put it out with water.

Yet you don't complain about things like cows or pigs or anything not "cute" being eaten? Stop being so selective, either all of it is okay or none of it is okay. Although boiling it alive is definitely crueler than simply striking it down in a few blows; that I will agree.

heyyo everyone! does anyone here knows if the items from the Caves and Cliffs backport mod would disappear or get replaced by the vanilla ones if I update to 1.17?(and remove the mod) I'm really excited to use those new blocks in my village but I'm hesitating on working on it yet using the backport mod.

The way mods work, if you remove the mod, the items and blocks it adds will be removed from your worlds, even if there's an equivalent vanilla item in the new version.
