Welcome to the top 25 Southern Idaho attractions! In no particular order, we have Shoshone Falls, a huge waterfall that can be viewed from the top or bottom. You can also kayak or walk to Pillar Falls and explore the cool rocks. Beef Jerky Lake is a great spot for swimming, and there's a catwalk to go around or you can even cliff jump. The Hidden Lakes also have a great cliff jumping spot. Ritter Island is a great spot for snorkeling, waterfall viewing, and kayaking. The City of Rocks is a must-see for rock climbing enthusiasts, and the Little City of Rocks is also a nice spot. Clay Cave and Mammoth Cave are great options for cave exploring, and Auger Falls is a beautiful spot located in Twin Falls. The famous Rock is a strange and impressive balancing rock. Vineyards Lake is a great spot for swimming, cliff jumping, and waterfall viewing.
The Mermaid's Butthole (also known as Mermaid's Hole) is a waterfall with a unique name and a powerful force. The Magic Canyon is a beautiful spot to explore, and Salmon Falls Dam is a small dam located in Southern Idaho. The Hangar Springs is a great spot for hiking, and you can even go down into the canyon to see a waterfall. The Craters of the Moon is a unique area that was used to film the moon landing, and it also has a cool cave. The Draw is a controversial spot with a rickety bridge that leads to a beautiful waterfall. Rock Art is a recently discovered spot with strange rock formations that some believe were created by aliens. Finally, Lake Walcott is a great spot for boating, fishing, and bird watching.
