Man, Great Info! Was in between Amex and Chase and leaning towards Amex. After hearing they don't have physical locations and Chase does; started leaning more towards Chase... Until the monthly service fee, but then you mentioned that it's waived for Service members... now I'm leaning towards Chase! Thanks for that info! I've been researching which Business bank to use all morning and you're the first Video that's mentioned that and had a list of other ways of having the fee waived👌😎

You should not be paying a monthly fee for a checking account under any circumstances in my opinion.

NEVER, EVER use an online-only bank like Amex! They only take cashiers checks to deposit cash which isn't possible if you don't have a checking account already. ALWAYS use a real bank!

And also Amex doesn’t accept any business. After you submit the Amex biz checking application you may get declined if your business is not on their eligible list. I have been declined twice and I used real estate as my industry. Funny thing is they approved me for a business credit card though.

definitely switch over to Chase. It’s way better. it will help you qualify for the credit cards and they have way more locations and better customer service

It’s really just personal preference at the end of the day. All of those banks you just listed will do the same thing. I just like the layout of the Bluevine app and everything they have to offer.

How do you go about depositing large cash amounts to put into your bank account without it getting taxed I know about the $10,000 rule but Google says you can still get flagged, and what if you have received cash as a gift from a family member?

You can either split up the money into 2 part so it’s under 10k or just deposit the whole thing. When they flagged your account, they’re just trying to verify the funds. It’s usually not a big deal. You just have to wait a few more business days to have access to your money.

Silicon Valley Bank is still open for business. I’m not sure if blue vine is associated with Silicon Valley Bank.

It’s OK I don’t have anything bad to say about Capital One. I just believe they don’t have that much to offer. Chase has the most offer when it comes to business accounts.

Do you have to have an LLC and EIN first in order to get one of these small business account? Also, how do you link your business bank account with your LLC and EIN? I’m also curious to know what software you use to manage sales and expenses? Do you use Quickbooks or another type of software?

No you don’t need an LLC or an EIN. Use Quickbooks to track expenses.
